Some of yu know my brother was killed in Iraq. think most of you think the deaths of soldiers is jsut a game of numbers. its NOT! it is real and each family that loses someone suffers. I don't think you understand how painful it is.
Once some is gone they are gone forever. People lose loved ones all the time. But when losing a brother or sister or parent or whatever in vain for a lie of a war. It is the worst thing ever.
You know this is preventable that is the worst thing ever. My brother didn;t have to die in vain. PArents losing their child doesnt have to happen. These are preventabl deaths. Our loved ones do not have to die.
Please they really do not have to die. LEt us save the lives of our loved ones. Please the pain every day we live with is terrible. My brother could be here a home. Or living in Kentucky in the Army. But he didn't have to die in vain.
I beg all of you to understand how painful it is and we can stop more lioves from being lost.

please i beg you all to support the lives of our loved one. suport the troops alive not in death. PLease save the lives and bring our troops home. There is no reason for them to die in vain.
Bush said they were in Iraq for WMD to protect America. Then he said to get Sadam.then he said to secure Iraq and install a govornment. Now it is to simply protect the troops.
Leaving Iraq would protect the troops. Please save their lives. my brother is gone. But other family members can may be see their loved ones alive. Not burry im

I grieve along with you. But I don't expect the cheerleaders for the war to feel the same, although they might make a hypocritical pretense of it. Their fear has induced them to turn off rational thought, and they feel safer for the senseless waste of lives in Iraq, even though we aren't.
I have a brother in the Army. He has not been sent to Iraq. Not only do I pray he never will be, but I want everyone else's brother or sister to coem back soon, and alive. Rightists will not say this. They want to stay indefinitely-- as long as THEY feel so afraid.

Death is senseless and so unfair. I am very sorry about your brother. You will miss him always. If we the people had any say in this our troops would be home safe and sound. But, it is up to the political elite. Their game of chess and we are the pawns. Sickening. Again, I am very sorry for you and your family. Talking about it does seem to help. Talk to anyone that will listen to you. Healing will come eventually. Take it out and look at it once in a while. Don't dwell on it or it will consume you . Deal with your grief a little at a time, not all at once. This will help keep you sane through it all. When the crying comes, let it. Then put it away for a while. This will cycle for a while until it becomes less and less. It is a long, slow, painful healing. But, the healing will come. You and your family have my love and sympathy. Death is a very heavy thing and to much to try and deal with all at once. Remember, little pieces at a time.

Unfortunately the few that are still supporting this war are conservatives that are trying to save face.Everyone knows this war was based on a lie.Bush sent our brave troops into the middle of a civil war. Of course we did not have a proper coalition considering the weak reason we are there.War should be used only as a last resort such as defending our country or our allies.Bush chose to go for personal gain which is unacceptable. It is obvious how much you loved your brother.Hopefully time will bring you more peace in your loss.I think it is very honorable of you to try to protect others from the hurt that you feel.

So sorry you lost your brother, and for all the other troupes that lost their life, any time a war is on the ground we loose a lot of troupes . This war, was all in vain. They went after the wrong people, we have solved nothing, except drain America money. and drive up prices. There is people here starving. It will take 10 years or longer to undo all the damage done to America, after this war.
Just my openion, I'm not a well educated person.
Have no say over running the country, but am sure who I will vote for. Queen Bee

It is indeed an extremely painful experience to lose someone in one's family under whatever circumstances it might be! I lost my nephew - a young man - in a freak road accident just a few days ago!
What is happening in Iraq is madness which was in the first place caused by a bunch of mad people following a mad policy and mad thinking! Hope some sane persons will emerge soon to put an end to it without any further delay!

Honey... we all feel your pain... and while perhaps each of us do not have immediate family members over there fighting.. we still know people who are there.. risking their lives for US. For OUR freedom.
Now.. i can say that I am against the war... it was and is privately agenda driven attack by the United States... something that Bush... . had planned to do from the moment of acceptance into the Oval office, something his father failed to do. September 11th, was used to fuel the fire of the people so we would approve the act of war.....
lets take into account Bill Clinton in office... he was there for 8yrs... right? If this country was in such dyer need of war with Iraq... why didn't Clinton go over there then.....?
Because Clinton has no private agenda.... Clinton was for the people.... Bush is for himself and his personal wealth!
I do and will continue to pray for and support our soldiers......................Prayers are with you!

You are becoming more unraveled as time goes by. I don't want to stop this. I want to see this conflict spread to Iran. I want to see the US bring these Islamics to their knees. I want to see the US cause them so much pain that the very thought of reading the Koran sends them into fits of dispar. I want to see this escalate to a point where all civilized nations join us in a scorched earth policy that slaughters off these barbarians. Honor your brothers death, sign on to victory.
