There's no limit to how many people someone can love at a time, but since polygamy/polyamory isn't typically well thought of (at least in the US) I'd wonder why someone would put themselves in such a difficult situation...rare will be the occasion that someone will feel romantic love for more than one person at a time, and not have some or all of the people involved being hurt at some point.

I've seen this question here before, and usually the highest percentage of answerers say no. However, I honestly believe that it's possible. I think about it like this: I have two parents who I love like parents. I have two children who I love like daughters. I have two friends who I love like friends. So, why would it be impossible for me to romantically love two women? What is so different about that particular kind of love that limits its number to only one? I am in love with only one woman, and that's all I want to be in love with, but what I'm saying is that I don't see why it would be impossible.

Yes, you can love several people at the same time. Love is an emotion, and is not limited to a single person.

I've heard it said often enough, but I think it's rubbish. I think you can have tender feelings towards more than one person at the same time, but LOVE, no.
