In Southern Claifornia many of the endangered species are found in coastal sage scrub and grassland habitats, but toad and frog populations are in decline. Shouldn't we be paying attention to all the canaries in the coal mine that is planet earth?

Most migrant workers in Britain will have to learn English before they settle in the country under new rules to be introduced by Gordon Brown's government.

The British prime minister is expected to outline the new rules, which are expected to slash the number of people entering Britain by at least 35,000 a year, in a speech to trade union bosses on Monday.

The changes come after Britain introduced new rules for all highly skilled migrants to learn English last December.

My wife left me with the house and the mortgage, and all the bills. I can't afford it, even if I stick with the necessities and ramen noodles. I want to get out of the house. My wife (whom I'm divorcing) doesn't want the house. Should I take a chance and let it foreclose, or is there anything I can do where my credit doesn't get hurt all that bad? (I realize it's going to take a beating)

a few nights ago, my best friend came over and we had fun taking some sexy pictures with the idea that we'd give them to our boyfriends (both of over a year).
some are pretty PG, while some are more explicit.
right now, we are only planning on sending the PG ones to them, but we'd both like a few outside opinions on them.
take a look. =))

by the way, we are both of legal age, so please, no outraged answers concerning age.
thanks in advance! =))

He is the sweetest! I’ve had a crush on him since 8th grade. I am a second yr college student and he is a junior. My girlfriend thinks we are perfect together. But I have two matters that are pulling me away from telling him: two of my close friends have had flings with him and I don’t want him acting awkward, which will result in us not being as close anymore. But I think he also feels the same. How do I go about telling him and how might he take it? We are both "adults" now and I want him badly...lol

The wife decided it was a good idea to look after a couple of kids as shes not working at the min and it would be some money, Anyway I really really hate it, We have 2 kids of our own and they all get on well, One of the kids is a little baby and doesn't give much trouble, the other is a 5 year old and really needs to learn some manners, child or not he's a complete tool, Even the look of him is hilarious, he has big ears like satellite dishes, big buck teeth, the kid was definitely tarred with the ugly brush.

I come in and have my dinner, he just sits in a constant stair looking at you eat which is really off putting, he comes out with smart remarks like my wife offered him a drink of orange juice, his response was "No I don't want your stinking juice" he tries to get my youngest in to trouble, child or not I really detest him, he really needs to learn manners.

My wife just takes his **** where as I be smart back to to him, whats the best way to handle this situation?

He feels that since it's so long ago, he's cleared it from his mind. Obviously it's fresh in my mind and I'm furious and hurt. I found an email account he had setup that he still to this day spoke "dirty" to her on and tried to setup meetings which he swears he never went through with. He had sex with her twice while he was there. I have 2 kids and another 1 due in just a couple of weeks. I'm devastated!!! I supported our kids and was there for him while he was away and he betrayed me. He wants forgiveness but I don't know what to do. I'm trying really hard to forgive, I don't want my little ones without a mommy and daddy together forever, the pain is overbearing right now and I'm an emotional wreck from the pregnancy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I was looking through an automotive performance catalog and started thinking about fuel coolers (typically a container with a coil inside that you fill with ice or dry ice or something) to try to reduce the temperature of incoming fuel. So the end result is a cooler fuel, which will increase the mass flow rate through your jets or fuel injectors. You have not increased the energy of the fuel at all, actually decreased the energy content of the fuel due to lower entropy. It seems like you would want to do the opposite, increase the energy of the fuel (add heat) and simply compensate the lower mass flow rate with larger jets or increased duration of the fuel injection pulse. Anyway it just seems like an inconsistent and difficult way to add more fuel. I would appreciate any good input from a scientific point of view.

I'm tired of trying to defend my views that 9/11 was an inside
job. Can somebody please show me hard evidence that the
official 9/11 stories are indeed all geniune?

For example, give me links to photos that show:

1. Pancaked floors sitting in a pile, one of top of each other,
because those Twin Towers collapsed due to a pancaking
floor-by-floor collapse. Where are the solid concrete floors
of the Twin Towers?

2. Show me photos of the aeroplane fuselage, wings, large
jet engines at the crash sites for Flight 77 and Flight 93.
Surely 757 jet planes should leave behind some wreckage
when they crash, right? So show me proof that this happened!

3. Prove to me that air fires can indeed cause steel to fail
catastrophically, resulting in steel-framed buildings collapsing
at near free-fall speeds. Show me an example of a high rise
steel-framed building that caught on fire, and completely
collapsed right down to the ground level (except the 3 that fell
on 9/11)

Hi there, ive just turned 35 weeks and today i think i have lost part of my mucus plug - it was clear with no colour etc but i'm a bit concerned as i have placenta previa and am booked for a c section in 3weeks time. I know if i have a bleed i have to go into hospital and have been told i will have to stay in. I called the hospital today to let them know whats happened and they said just 'go careful'????

I bought a cat from the vet clinic here on post sat. She seemed ok, but after awhile she started dry heaving like she was going to throw up, then yesterday and today she has this stuff running out the corners of both eyes and her nose, plus she has diarrhea and sleeps all the time (the sleeping part i just put this off as her being a kitten) but now im worried . I have 2 adult cats and I have never seen this in either of them, not even when they were kittens. All my cats are indoor cats. Im afraid the new kitten has something that she may pass on to my 2 adult cats. Am I over reacting...My vet is at lunch right now

My father put a CD up for collateral for a personal loan. The loan matured and a balance of $3,800 is owed. The cd is larger and I can not pay the balance of the loan. The bank is going to take the balance from the CD and the loan will be settled. My father does not understand my temporary situation and is telling me he will take me to small claims court and put a judgement against my home (which is not on the original loan). Is that possible?
