I've noticed that there is a lot of "networking" regarding Pakistani's and overseas employment. Do you know someone who knows someone who already works overseas? Ask them to submit your resume. If not, apply to the large companies. They are always looking and have experience working with the various visas. Juniper, Cisco, Microsoft, Alcatel Lucent, Nortel and the like are all good bets.

Just be aware that the business temperment in the USA is very different from Pakistan. I've known very competent employees from foreign countries who can't take the environment. I've even seen them cry. Be aware of it before you come over and know that it isn't personal. Business is cut throat here and feelings aren't spared.

I would look for large companies they have webpages career sections . Hewlett Packard, Juniper, Cisco, Microsoft, Alcatel, Siemens, Motorola, Lucent, Nortel, Texas Instruments, Coke, Dell Computers , many of these offices have locations all over the US. There are many , many others where your skills could fit and they are willing to sponsor people coming over. Get a good cover lettter and resume written / make sure the english is perfect. and start bombarding the system. follow up / try to get to know who the recruiters / hiring managers are and keep trying. you might try hooking up with a computer science / engineering ? staffing firm that places candidates in companies. They might be able to give you job leads. Good Luck in your search.

the ONLY way to come to america is to be sponsered by a family member who is already here or by an employer. they only allow a very small ammount of workers into the us every year. computer science might fit into the skilled job category. which they only allow around 14,000 a year. it's filled in a single day. plus they look at the specific country your in and determine the ammount for each country. they allow even fewer from pakistan. so your chances are basically zero.

Do like every law breaking immigrant does, COME THROUGH MEXICO!
USA is for sale to Mexicans and anyone abroad!
Come through our porous southern border!
Praise Allah and carry a nuke as well!
Bush doesn't care!
In fact Bush and clan wants the North American Union!
So just go to Mexico and run with the illegals over, and then go to any city and you will get paid like never before!!!
ALL 100% FREE because my government is so far up the *** of big oil and corporations, that they could care less if you come here to kill us, steal from us, or even start a new cult.
They just want your money!

GOD SAVE AMERICA FROM OUR POLITICIANS!

All the computer science jobs are moving to India - go there, get a job working for an American company and maybe they will move you here after awhile.

You have to be really cheap. The only IT jobs that are still in this country require a security clearance. Go to India.

I agree....now is NOT a good time. We've out-sourced many jobs to India...try there. Maybe you can work for Sprint....God knows I can't understand ONE thing they are saying when I call customer service.

ENIGMA you rock dude!!

They speak the truth, those who surmise that outsourcing has already decimated the computer job-market here in the U.S.

You might meet a lovely U.S. bride online, but if you do, please have a really small family. We're bustin' at the seams as it is.
