Hi, sir, This is dinesh from sri lanka. I have done a job of hair dresser from Feb. 2000 to may 2007. But due to my family problem. I am unable to continue my job for next six months. Can I apply for PR in Australia, on the basis of my hair dressing experience? Tanks

don't understand why you cant work at hairdressing if family is in trouble but you want to come to Australia sounds little strange to me

Probably not but I don't know what the demand is for hairdressers. You should check the Department of Immigration and Citizenship web page at http://www.immi.gov.au for information about permanent residency and the skills needed in Australia.
