My situation:
For the last 3-4 years I have been really addicted to computers and computer games. I spent (on free days) 10 hrs per day and on school days 6 or so next to the computer playing games. I dont know what happened over the summer, maybe its the crappy situation in the game (its an MMORPG which got taken over by a crappy company) or maybe i grew up out of it but I lost all touch for the game, and games in general. This game was really addictive, i mean i would think about it basically all day and I would wake up really excited to play the game. Now, I wake up and I am really excited or nervous (i dont know how to explain) but there is no longer a reason and I feel like i developed an anxiety disorder or something. Right now I keep thinking as if I am going to go crazy and i dont feel right not playing games. But I also dont want to play them and end up in my 20's remembering my teen years as 1 video game.

I really wanted to know this. I was never into getting really emotional with remembering 9/11. When you look over it 3,000 people died, that is not a whole lot compared to the 150,000 that die daily. I'm not trying to act non-American, but I try to just look over it to get the thought out of my head. The day was tragic, but from my view I don't tend to look over that much on the rememberance of it. We shouldn't forget it, but us Americans should loosen up and move on from the tragic day.

So, how do you remember it, if you do at all?

I read that Mother Theresa requested that her personal letters detailing her spiritual struggles be destroyed after her death.

Does anyone know why they weren't, and should they have been, or is it better for them to be published? If so, why?

I am a little offended that her wishes were not honored, although I am fascinated by her mission and her struggle.

I'm Christian and my mom disapproves of Halloween,but I love it.I think that it's so fun and cool but she insists that it's evil.I understand that there really are real witches and stuff like that but I mean...it's not like I'm gonna do bad things and start doing dark magic just because it's Halloween.I just wanna dress up and go trick or treating and maybe go to a Halloween dance at school.Everyone else at my school celebrates Halloween.And I read Harry Potter books and watch the movies and I am super-obsessed with it,and supposedly THAT isn't for Christians either.I mean how come she lets me read Harry Potter books but not celebrate Halloween?She let my big brother celebrate it when he was one year old and now she she hasn't let us do anything ever since way back then.So anyways,I just wanted to know if people on Yahoo Answers think that she should lighten up and let me celebrate it or not...maybe if you guys agree with me than she'll be convinced. :~)

Why couldn't there be a one point perimeter,say around five feet from the goal. This would neutralize somewhat the height advantage and rely instead on the talent shooting ability of the individual players. It will also inspire the players to shoot from the outside instead of bullying themselves around the goal.

My friend tries to cook. She is sweet. But, she has no cooking skills. We've hinted at trying to tell her but she doesn't get the hint AT ALL. So today for lunch she had some of us over and I'm serious we were literally gagging down the food. None of us finished our food and we all just kind of snuck it into the trash. How do we deal with this?

Not necessarily aHW problem, it's just I'm trying to build a model, and I want to know, not by trial and error, but I want to be sure it works.

I literally forgot the algebraic equation, I want to know if the slope ins an X amount of feet long, at a certain degree how fast it would be going by the time it hits the bottom of the line.

I'm 18 years old and I'm thinking of getting a mohawk. I've been growing my hair for 6 years and I want to cut it, but a regular haircut would be boring, so I thought of getting a mohawk. I don't plan on spiking it, I just want to keep it natural; and if I need to look formal, I have no problem with gelling it and brushing it back.

Would employers have a problem if I did my hair like this?

Oh, and I've never had a job before- I have filled out many applications, but have only had 2 interviews. I think it is because I do not have any previous work experience, so I plan on working on my college campus for the first quarter so that I have an occupational reference and then apply at a bank as a teller.
