my best friend in the whole world cannot seem to get a boyfriend..she is really nice and funny but she is about 5'6 and 170 pounds..y do guys care about weight? she has a pretty face she is just a little overweight..

im a little overwieght too, and that has nothing to do with it. Its all about the way you carry yourself, exude poise, your confidence level etc. also she should not go looking for boys, it seems slutty. Instead she should let boys come to her, bc when they do it will be a more natural attraction , not a forced one

It's more about personality really. If she's a shy type, or seems like friend material too easily then she'll have a hard time finding a guy. A few extra pounds really don't make that much difference. A lot of extra pounds is another story, but even that can be over come.
As hard as it is to hear, she just needs to be herself and it will happen in its' own time.

Sometimes, it isn't that she can't get a boyfriend, but maybe, she herself is too choosy. I know a girl like that, and many boys have thought about asking her out, but she acts like she's too good for them. Sooner or later though, a nice guy, who she is attracted to, will come along. Till then, enjoy your friendship with her, do girl things together, and drag her out to socialize. (Coffee shops are great, too!)

Not all guys care about weight. There are some awesome guys out there that love personality. I am sure she will find the right guy, just don't rush it.
