need to find a wireless camera system with recorder for my home to protect my car and outside areas

meanwhile, here is what you need to know.
cameras with IR built in, have a bad habit of fuzzing out in dim light due to reflected IR from the glass that surrounds the cameral.
the time lapse recorder, mine records 1250 hours, makes things happen very fast, you need to slow the recording time down and take longer exposures. What took me 20 minutes to do in real time was captured in 3 seconds on my recorder.
also, the camera can wash out the image due to over exposure, this is something to take into consideration.
like I say email me and I can give you specific models and equipment to use, also we need to discuss blind spots so that you don't have these.

Radio Shack has a system of two low-light wireless cameras that can send an image to a recorder located within 100 feet or so. I looked into one when I was having problems with vandalism. The cameras will probably suck a set of batteries dry soon, though, so if you can get power to them, the system will be much more reliable.
