On one Saturday, I planned to eat lunch at a local restaurant. When I arrived there, the parking lot in front of the restaurant was full so I drove to a nearby parking garage and found a spot with free 3 hour parking sign clearly displayed on the wall and the whole first level was almost half empty, including the spot next to mine.
After I finished the lunch and left the parking garage, on the way back home, I was surprised to see a ticket by the windshield. I stopped and took a look at the ticket and was shocked that I was fined $250. I went back to the garage right away and checked the spot that I parked , at that very moment i realized that it was a handicap one! I couldn't believe what happened. I never in a million year imagined there was one handicap parking slot hidden between 10 regular parking slots. I swear that I didn't see the handicap sign while parking. As I said that there were many empty spots and the one next to it was empty. Please advise me if I shall fight for it

Today while driving my van I noticed that my speedometer wasn't working. it is stuck under the pin that is located below the 0 mph - what happened and how do I fix it - tried some self diagnostic stuff with the ignition switch and the trip button and nothing worked. Noticed that all the other electronics work and that the van is turned off the dial on the speedometer drops really low in the area on the bottom of the face of the speedo and the trip/odometer is working.

Hey guys, I'm a guy (age 15) and I'm planning on growing my hair down to reach atlleast my eyes.
So heres the thing, you know how some peoples hair type makes them look ugly and crazy while there growing there hair long? (mostly guys anyway). Well, I want to do certain hair styles untill my hairs reaches the state I want it at. What styles can I do while my hairs growing? My hairs only about 1 inch right now so I dont really need to do a style right now but later is a different story.

also, since my hairs only 1 inch, how long do you guys think it'll take to grow my hair to reach my eyes? And what can I do to make my hair grow faster?

Christians tell me that my willingness to accept science is faith. OK Fine. Let's assume that my acceptance of science is faith. When I broke my ankle, the doctors fixed it using techniques that were developed by science. I have food to eat every single day because science has developed ways to plant massive amounts of germ resistant crops. Science has also drastically improved the quality of my life. I have a car so I don't have to walk everywhere. I have a TV, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a house, and a computer, all of which were developed by science. However, faith in God never did anything to improve the quality of my life. Ever since I gave up on the church and decided to go to college for engineering, my life has been so much better. Faith in science yields results. Faith in God yields nothing.

It hurts to eat on my left side. I did have a bump on my right gum, but that's pretty small now. The one on the left hurts pretty bad. Well, not exactly hurts. It's irritating and I can feel it all the time. It's right by my lip. I can't eat on that side, but it doesn't hurt when I bite down my teeth. The bump is pinkish redish in color... The same color as the rest of my gum, just a little lighter. It doesn't hurt when I touch it though. It's firm, but soft. I'm 16 if that matters. It doesn't hurt to swallow my saliva, but it gets real irritated when food touches it. Help! It's been here for like 2 days.

Latex:

I have a rinse bucket (5 gal.) that accumulates a latex sludge on the bottom. What type of filter/filtering jig could I use to get that water as pollutant free as possible for dumping it down the drain?

The water tends to mildew over time. Any way to prevent this?


Oil and latex:

I use a fabric softener and water mixture for keeping the brushes soft. This is the last stage of clean up in the cases of either type of paint being used.

This mixture likes to build up a mildew looking skin on the top surface...any ideas? I'm not too crazy about the idea of simply dumping fabric softener, water, and latex/oil residues down the drain.

the theoretical scientists are just backfilling, developing the theories to explain the activities of & results obtained by the former group? Do we need the theoreticians of science? And if we do or don't, can you explain( giving the reasons) why we do or don't. Please.

side note: This is a Q in the *philosophy of science but it is posted in the *physics category which is most fundamental and comprehensive of all the sciences where more smart and knowledgeable people can be found to answer the Q.
