I watched the discovery channel last night about haunted houses
and there was a family on there who claimed to have a ghost or too.
They decided to sell but the local press got hold of the story and nobody whould buy a hunted house.

I tried to put myself in a position of a prosective buyer but came to the conclusion I would not buy/invest in that house.

Like most off you I dont belive in ghost etc, so why would we think twice about buying it

HI! This is so stupid that I can't stand it!!! I don't know why I can't solve it!

Okay, we have a ball that is dropped from a height of 294 feet that can drop at a rate of 34.3 feet/second. The height, s, can be calculated by the formula:

s(t) = 4.9t² + 34.3t

where t is the time in seconds. How long does it take for the ball to reach the ground?

I tried a few different ways (why doesn't the quadratic formula work?), but nothing comes out right! Please explain how you solve this (without graphing it). Okay thanks! I'll pick a best answer TODAY!

As children my siblings & I suffered abuse from our father, more hurtful was the ingnorance of our mum, the fact she never stopped him or protected us. Shes divorced him & ever since she's acted like a victim, she's completely self involved and only remembers her pain. My brother and sis have little at all to do with her, nor do I, only our youngest sis sees her on a day to day basis. Last night it was her birthday and as usual the drunken conversation drifted to talking about "him" I must point out that my little sister raised the issue, not me. My mum started saying stuff about our past that was complete lies, she basically rewrote our history, I should of walked out but i'm stubborn and had to put her right, I ended the night talking my big sister and she told me my mum thinks i'm really screwed up because i keep "keep causing arguements" about it. I'm so mad at her, its never me that raises the issue but I cant not argue back with her when shes lieing!what do i do?

i don't know if i'm having "fertile" cm or not. and i'm scared.

i am due to ovulate tomorrow, so i started checking my cm and cp on wednesday. on wednesday i noticed my cervix was soft, high, open and wet. i had this very large amount of gummy cm. it was stretchy. thursday, same thing. my opks were negative both days.

yesterday, i noticed a SMALL amount of ewcm and my opk was positive. today, i have just watery cm and another positive opk.

what's wrong? shouldn't i have lots of ewcm to get pregnant? what could be the reason i dont?

when we finally allow all illegal immigrants in this country and guess what the cost of living gets higher and the payrate lowers were the h-ll are the citizens going to live and work. are we ever going to run out of space. how much land space is left for living. are we going to keep building up. you know have housing that is as high up as the twin towers. and allow total strangers to live in our homes so that we can make the bills. I just donot get it the few immigrants that i know live in crowded apartments or houses were a whole family shares one room. are we the citizens for umteen generations going to end up living that way. how about like china are we going to live like them walmart workers that have to live in the open rooms, on nasty bunkbeds and share showers and cooking. and still pay the bills and not make enough to go anywhere with your life..

Please excuse my ignorance but I am from UK and was never circumcised. I now live in the US and my american wife says if we have a son then he will be circumcised as all americans are. Is this true? I actually was under the impression it was a Jewish thing. I don't know of any of my friends back home that had this. So is it american? Jewish ? and why so important?
