There was a divorce. I'm disabled, I live in Kansas, my children are in Alaska, all through the years my ex has made life so difficult, They're grown up now, I'll be seeing them, I don't know what to do, what to say, I'm scared to death!

What I mean by two weddings is... I personally want to get married in a church but my fiance is really not liking the idea... so I was wondering... is it okay to have a simple private church wedding... and then have a big wedding somewhere else?! is that even possible?

She yells at me when I try to block her eyes or change the channel, "I KNOW IT'S PLASTIC, IT'S JUST KETCHUP, DON'T CHANGE IT!" and I do anyway...
what's your take on that?

This evening my kids wanted to bake, so we baked several cakes. My daughter likes to bake (10) and my son likes to mix things and use the wisk:) (7).

We took the baked cakes to several shut-ins in our community and visitted with them for a bit.

I am so proud of them all of the time, but tonight, my heart is bursting with pride.

I'm learning japanese, but I'm kind of fuzzy on katakana. I know it's used for foreign words. Can you not use hiragana or kanji because the pronunciation is different? I just...I can't seem to grasp what it's for...Can you just give me a simple definition so I can better understand it?

So, as far as I am aware, Boy Scouts will not accept Atheist (or some say non-Christian) boys for enrollment.

Do the Boy Scouts also receive public funding?

Is this not illegal then for them to discriminate in this way since they are receiving tax payers' money?

Please note - I have no legitimate source for this - it IS just hearsay - just thought someone out there might know the truth. If the above is true, it is shameful and I am drafting a letter to my senator and congressman.

my 9 yo and 5 yo are the laziest children on the planet and between that and their back talking, my DH and I just can't take it anymore. I've seen kids on tv who do chores without being told and seem to respect their parents and their belongings. My kids just don't. We yell, discipline (take away their favorite things) and nothing seems to work. We are so frustrated and I am looking for some sort of book or program to help us turn their attitudes around. Any suggestions?

Everytime we go to war it is always during a term that a republican president in in office. But this takes the cake! Too many innocent people were murdered on September 11, 2001. Too many innocent people have been murdered since then. And too many people are still being murdered. All for a madman that wants to rule in the name of Allah. Bin Ladin is a coward hiding behind his butchers. Now he shows his face while still hiding. So Sadam was found! Whoopie! Did he brag about The World Trade Center? But he and his sons did suffer poetic justice. Our men and women are not only dying from suicide bombers, but by mandatory Anthrax vaccinations. Worse of all are the innocent children, murdered or orphaned. God must be truly angry with us. Does anyone have any suggestions to send to President Bush?
