This evening my kids wanted to bake, so we baked several cakes. My daughter likes to bake (10) and my son likes to mix things and use the wisk:) (7).

We took the baked cakes to several shut-ins in our community and visitted with them for a bit.

I am so proud of them all of the time, but tonight, my heart is bursting with pride.

I am proud of you and your kids! They sound very nice.

I am proud of my boys - 6 and 2 1/2. My six year old is very polite, even when he is frustrated or upset. He'll put himself in a time-out on a bad day! My 2 1/2 is just that, terrible twos, but sometimes he breaks through: tonight he put his toys away before I asked (he was tired) and he'll always give a hug if someone looks sad.

They are very persistent and try to do their best. That makes me proud!

What a beautiful story to be found nestled amongst all the doom and gloom here.

I am extremely proud of the way my kids are progressing through life as well but, alas, they would have consumed the cakes before they even cooled.

I would hope every parent is proud of their children. I don't think a moment goes by that I don't feel proud of my children. I love baking with my kids. It gets messy, but it is some of the most fun we have. Keep it up.

Congratulations on doing a great job of parenting!!
All my children are grown and have families of their own. I am extremely proud of mine, but I can also say I "like" my children. I actually enjoy the adults they have become.

I would be proud of them too. Even the smallest achievements are to be praised. When they learn early to reach out to others, it shows them how to care and be compassionate to others.

And yes, I am always proud of my children.

I have 4 great kids. I try to be a great father for them. I teach them, work with them and try to give them every opportunity to grow and to shine. I am so proud of them.

My daughter has a big heart too. She is always trying to help people who are in need. I think it's amazing that something like that is not taught, it is who they are. I'm proud, you have every right to be too! Props to your kids...
