I don't know,it might be worth it in close calls like NFL games. What do you think fans(we all hate to see umps blow a call against our fave teams)

I could live with IR for calls at the outfield wall and foul poles. This is the part of the field furthest from the umpires (even during the postseason, with additional line umps), and where the game can be changed the most quickly and drastically. The technology is readily available as well.

But wall plays only. Nowhere else.

Football is one thing but I do not believe there should be instant replay in baseball. Its been around for so long and it's obviously America's past time. I say we should just keep it the way it is and was for the past 100 or so years. Instant replay is a no no. The umps making bad calls are just a part of life. We all make mistakes!

I think it works well for football and hockey...but not baseball...rarely do I see an ump get a call wrong...football games to me are much more compelling in that there are only 16 games in a season...so every game means a little more...now, instant replay in baseball playoffs I would go for....although I still do think the umps get 90% of the calls right.

Naw. Baseball John lets not forget, is a game not only on tradition but of substance. Lets keep technology at the gate. Baseball is true as it is. The next thing they would want to do is add a clock. Play ball as is. Blown calls are part of it all. It keeps the human element true to form.

no, baseball has been a tradition for over 100 years. do u think they would have used replays 100 years ago? besides technology, why would we now?? and in high school they will all make excuses for thier outs..."well if we had instant replay like the MLB i woulda been called safe!" and i dont wanna hear that....they'd be complaining all the time!

Changing this would change the game forever. The human factor needs to remain in the game. Plus we could always blame it on the umps!

I don't think they should use instant replays, like they do in football.

It should be used because sometimes umps make terrible calls.
