Should they just come home since its a democratic republic?

The bible says that the root of all evil is MONEY. That it is easier for the camel to enter the 'eye of the needle' than for the rich to enter the kingdom.

But I also know of many christians who believe that if God likes them, they will be made RICH in this world. Otherwise, if they are poor, it means God is not watching over them. Is this true? That God gives you evil (money) when He loves you?

Some others believe that they should have the best of both worlds. Rich now and Rich after death. Of course this is an ideal case cos in the context of the bible, being rich now usually just means being poor after death.

So, as christians, should we strive to be rich now or rich later? Or is the faith non-existent and replaced by the fear of death and the greed of money that they call themselves christians only to deceive themselves and others that the kingdom of God awaits them while they take their time revelling amongst themselves on earth?

ive just moved to the south from new york city. i started high school a few weeks ago. the first difference i noticed about my rural high school was the amount of racism and homophobia and just plain descrimination. students throw around "******* queer" and "f a g g o t". the few black kids get made fun of constantly. the mexican students have it the worst. even some of the teachers are in on it. my spanish teacher is constantly preaching about jesus and christianity and nonbelievers going to hell, and how the mexicans and jews are taking over. coming from a school whose most active club was the gay-straight alliance, i cant even imagine how hard it would be for a gay student to come out in this environment. i can't stand it. i suppose there's not MUCH i can do. i dont know how to deal with the situation without being a hippocrate. is it okay to be intolerant of intolerance?

i wash my face every morning and nite and like 2 hours later my skin starts to get oily again. i have to put on medication for my acne and it seams like it just speeds up to make my skin shiny. i just started using liquid foundation and powder but you can still tell that my forehead is oily...
can anyone help??

i have used neurtogena in the past and it does NOT help me at all.

My husband comes home with his pay and he doesn't take any money from it, but whenever he goes and gets his pay he always comes home with stuff that he buys but it's not the money from his pay. He is regular army, went AWOL after his 3rd week of BCT at Fort Benning, hes a 25B not sure what that means. He's been gone for almost 15 days now. Will they actually take the time in persuing him? Like sending the cops everywhere or undercover agents and such to apprehend him. Are they allowed to do search warrants like the whole house or yard? or hold me as an accomplice to his whereabouts.
