The things that make our hair fall out and turn grey/white are different.

Chemotherapy and radiation, both used in cancer treatment can cause hair loss in some people. It doesn't change colour first, but may look different when it grows back.

Hair goes grey if we stop producing melanin. Vitamin b deficiancy can cause this as can some health issues and some drugs. Any of these may relate to either her Cancer or the treatments she is receiving.

When I began to have chemo.my hair did not change colors. It began to come up in large clumps when I brushed it or washed it. I finally decided to shave my head, which was very hard. My hair is now growing back. I have noticed ther is much more gray than before and it is very curly.

i am not a doctor but if she does chemotherapy than i might have something to help her. i think it can turn your hair. has she tried to put a damp towel on her head. my friend had cancer and did this so her hair wouldn't fall out. she has nice hair too.
