I have already worked for a company & they said so long as it was over 3 years old it was fine, I just wondered if anyone knew where I stood legally.

They have asked if I have a full UK licence which i have said yes, but surely they would ask about convictions before employing someone?

Just worried if I accept a job & then they say we cant emply you because of this reason.

Please help, & i would never drink & drive again.

am braziIian but as it is very difficult to find a job here I wanted to go to Canada.
I spent over three years looking hard for a job in Canada through the internet. I studied a lot about the Country. It was very hard but I found a job approved by HRSDC, in February of this year, to work in Edmonton, Alberta.
I submitted all required documentation to the canadian consulate but the immigration officer refused my work permit. He said that I do not have strong economic ties to my country.
Is it not "prejudice"? Is the opportunities only for richies"?
I tried to go legally but what was the advantage of doing that legally?
Is not an unemployed a human?

I had employer and place to stay in Canada and I did everything within the law.

If you were an immigration officer would take the same position?

I have this pair of pants that I absolutley love. Well I love the look and feel of them, but hate the lent that collects on them during the day. I always have to spend time removing the lent before I wear them and before the end of the day they are covered again. I mean by lunch time I look a mess. I would love to know a permenant way to remove lent from my clothes. Or just a way to keep lent away for the whole day. Anyone?

My little sister is always watching Disney Channel, and I must say there are some hot babes on the shows on this channel.

Here's a list of the girls:

Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) - she's hotter without the blonde wig, and the southern accent is hot
Emily Osment (Hannah Montana) - above average, innocent, girl next-door type look
Vannessa Hudgens (High School Musical) - WOW, that's all I got to say
Ashley Leggat (Life with Derek) - not super hot, but very nice looking and she's Canadian
Ashley Tisdale (Suite Life of Zack and Cody and High School Musical) - decent blonde, but not the best.
Maiara Walsh (Cory in the House) - I think she's Brazilian and Portugese.
Brenda Song (Suite Life of Zack and Cody) -I think Asians are okay.
Raven Simone (That's So Raven) - she's really not that hot. I'm not into black girls plus she's kind of chubby.
Anneliese van der Pol (That's So Raven) - I'm not into red heads at all.

Did I forget anyone?

My pick would be Vaneesa Hudgens.

For some reason, everytime i look up in space, at night, i feel like im going to fall up in the sky. You know, when you lay down on the ground at night and look up at the stars. She has never had a ticket before and has a clean dmv record. The cop said she was speeding, but it was only like 5 miles over. She was ticketed for not having a license with a current address! Her license is up for renewal in a few weeks, when she will be moving and she did not want to change it to the current address, then have to change it again when she moves, so she let it stay at a previous adress, and the colp cited her. Can she fight this in court, and is it even worth the hassle? Was the cop being a "hiney"?

My husband and I recently got married in NZ and are now toying with the idea of emigrating for good. Its a beautiful country, clean, green and alot friendlier than UK any day.
I hate the British Government and what they are doing to this country. Slowly but surely this country is losing everything that was ever great about it. Im only 32 but feel if I stay here its only going to get worse. Crime, NHS, tax, poor wages, immigration, unemployment.....shall I go on!!
Only problem Ive got is Im an only child and dont really want to leave my mum behind. She is 60 this year and we are very close. My dad dies when I was young from cancer and ever since then we have a strong bond. My mum says she would live over there with us but my step-dad, who I love ...wont move. He is typical Uk born and bred and wont leave the country. I can understand that its my life I have to think of ( and my husbands!) and I would love to live in New Zealand but Im scared I would miss my mum so much.
