The only thing anyone can do is offer hope or a different view to a drug addict. No one can really "help" a drug addict to clean themselves up. All anyone person can do is be supportive! Celebrities are no different.....they have to want the change.
So, no! I think that you would have to know someone in order to be vested enough to help with the level of reckoning that comes with getting clean.

Of course I have a friend now who is on drugs, who I've been very instrumental in helping him kick. I think that is a huge problem these days, people don't do anything until it's too late, they sit back and go "look at her, what a shame, what a disgrace. ." but don't throw a life preserver when in most cases these people are screaming out for help in some form or fashion whether it's alcohol, drugs, pills, whatever. . but I think if you truly care about people you would want to say 'look you've dropped anchor in dangerous waters. ., what's going on with you and how can I help?" But also the person has to want to be helped. . but I'm going to at least try.
