I don't know...I think I'd buy his book of money draw spells, should he choose to write one! :-)

I've been a practicing Witch for ten years--if there's danger, I haven't seen it yet.

I'll tell you this:
I am a journalist in the Baltimore area and have written about Wicca in the past. (I am not Wiccan myself.)
I interviewed Bunky after his lottery win, and I can tell you that he is a smart, funny and kind-hearted fellow, and very knowledgeable about Wicca and Reiki. (He intends to expand his teaching of both, as well as invest in the New Age/Pagan shop that has been hosting his classes.)
He also has his own accountancy firm, and is very sharp when it comes to money. He doesn't count on the Goddess and the God to take care of his money for him, so I doubt there will be a book of "money draw spells."
But for spiritual matters, if you're interested in Wicca, he wouldn't be a bad guy to talk to.

Magic...like everything else humans do or say...is a matter of what you make of it. If you want money, you may have to forfeit something else. I think of Princess Leia's admonition to Han Solo at the end of the original Star Wars: "If money's all you want, money's what you'll get!" Meaning: that ALL you'll get...you won't get me. Money or the girl, hmmm? Fascinating choices we humans sometimes make... But, as Green Eye Lilo points out, Wicca and magic are not the same...it might be interesting to take the class to see what it's all about...(BTW, I live in MD...convenient?)

So, uh, this guy says his winning the lottery was because of his religion, but not because of the religions of the other people who won the lottery, despite their beliefs almost certainly contradicting his?
People pray to their gods for lottery victories all the time. Those gods don't deliver.

If he was giving out free money, sure, I'd go to his class. I'm happy to hear a story in the news of something good happening to a Wiccan.

I plan on it. Just haven't had the time yet. I could certainly use that Reiki course, considering what I've done to my knee and back lately!

So much for Wicca being an initiatory, "mystery religion". Whatever happend to the "witch's pyramid" of "to know, to will, to dare, and to keep silent"? So much for that rule!
I use to study wicca for years, as well as many other occult traditions. I know more than most wiccans do about their own practices, and can teach you everything you need to know.
Wicca is a religion concocted by a man named Gerald Gardner in England circa 1950. Prior to Gardner, there was no Wicca. Gardner's original Wicca seems to have been little more than an excuse for him to be tied up and beaten by strong willed women, according to Adian Kelly, a Wiccan traditionhead and author of "Crafting The Art of Magic".
