I have this pair of pants that I absolutley love. Well I love the look and feel of them, but hate the lent that collects on them during the day. I always have to spend time removing the lent before I wear them and before the end of the day they are covered again. I mean by lunch time I look a mess. I would love to know a permenant way to remove lent from my clothes. Or just a way to keep lent away for the whole day. Anyone?

I will have to try the fabric softner, but i usually hate the feel of it. I guess I can deal with it, everynow and then just for these pants. I also already use the tape and lint brush, but I hate to constanly have to rub my AS! with tape at work! lol

They are 96% cotton and 4% spandex. I do not waer pantyhose under them. I have the mathing jacket, but never wear it because that is just too much tape and time, during the day.

Well for starters start washing them inside out and hanging to dry.. If you must dry them use bounce fabric softener/static guard.. Static Guard keeps things from being "attracted" to the material.. It's a spray and you can keep it with you at work.. Also, maybe keep a lint brush or clear packing tape with you at work so you can spot check your pants throughout the day.. Good luck...

Lint is every where , it´s like dust. If you wash your Pants with similar materials and turn them inside out before you pop them in the machine ,you will be surprised to find there will be a lot less . Also giving them a shake when they come straight from the machine will help.Another thing you can do is lay a damp cloth over them when ironing , This will lift most of it off. Other than that , lots of sellotape pressed against the material will lift it

Lint is really like the dandruff of clothing. You constantly get new specks of fibers flaking off the clothes so cleaning it one day will not help you the next day.

You could try fabric softener to keep static electricity from attracting more lint but I don't think there is a permanent cure.

Let me guess...the pants are not all-cotton, but a blend of cotton-polyester or 100% polyester? And maybe you wear pantyhose under them? You might be generating your own static electricity, in which case, all of the above great suggestions *cough* (jk, folks) will be of little help

Another thought: maybe you work in a place that has the type of carpeting that builds up static electricity when you walk on it, especially in shoes with leather soles? When you touch metal, especially an elevator 'call' button, do sparks light up your life? Just a random thought based on past-life experience...

but hey! try 'em all. If you come up with a winning combination, please post it here for us? Thanks.

I think I have those pants lol
I actually spray mine down with hairspray
right out oif the dryer. it feels a little stiffer ay first, but not bad.
Don't over spray just a light quick dusting does the trick.
also do not wash black pants with anything other than themselves and yes>>>always use fabric softener<<<<
