"you are so skinny"

while you never hear "you are so fat"?

I am not skinny, I am thin but some people tell me I am skinny!!! I am just amazed because I have curves (not fat) and you don't see my bones that much. I look healthy and thin ... not skinny. I am 110 for 5feet1... so really not skinny at all.

Why do people think it's ok to say that to people "you are so skinny"
and why do they say that when the person is actually not skinny, but thin/slim.

I would never say to someone "you are so fat" or " you are so skinny" or "you are so obese" or " you are so whatever"

I did become skinny once in my life after being sick for 3 weeks... do people realize that their comments are so inappropriate? .... making someone justify/explain his/her weight?

I was just listening to the radio and there are A LOT of songs with questionable lyrics, but I am using this one as an example.

Coffee Shop by Young Joc.

The lyrics are about a drug dealer and making drugs and selling drugs.

There are CHILDREN singing the chorus.

WHO THE HELL has kids singing a song about drugs.

I know if it ticks me off turn the channel, but gesh, when is enough enough? There are little kids whose parents dont give a damn and they repeat this stuff or try to live by what they hear on tv and in music. SAD.

What can we do as a society to make sure people can have free speech but that it does not hurt us a whole, bringing us all down.

I have noticed a lot of hatred on this site. Some or more against Muslims and Christians. But it seems to me that whenever someone tries to remove barriers and promote love for both faiths-- there are a lot of people who start copy n pasting versus and are quick to be judgmental. I have seen the power of nice words and love. How hard is it to at least try and understand the misconceptions we have about each other.

Does it cramp yout toungue or does it bruise your ego. By "you" I mean people who don't like Muslims, and don't like Christians, for whatever reason.

Do you agree? Do people need to stop being lazy and actually learn about the religion they love hating. or the people from that religion.

Is it fair to blame ALL Muslims for the radicals (which are in every faith by the way). And before someone says it-- Yes we are trying our best to stop these radicals. They hurt us as much as they hurt you. They have ruined the name of Islam and Muslims.

People have been saying Catholics will not go to Heaven, but I don't understand why. They believe that Jesus is their savior, If I am not mistaken they are the ones that shaped Christianity as it is now. Where does all of this hate come from?
