I used to do physical labor at a warehouse and was payed about $9.00/hr and I used to work hard all day carrying heavy things without much rest and there is no air conditioning in the warehouse so during the summer you have to work at over 100 degrees of heat.

Recently I found a customer service job and they pay me $18.00/hr, double what I used to earn at the warehouse, and all I do is sit on my butt all day talking to people (customers) over the phone in an air conditioned office, most of the time there aren't even any calls coming in and we are aloud to just browse the internet and chat on AIM and Yahoo while there are no calls coming in.

What is the reason for this? Why would anyone want to do hard exhausting physical work for such pathetic pay when they can earn twice as much in customer service jobs? And why do companies pay you so much more just to sit on your butt and talk to people, while the people who are really working hard in warehouses get payed so little?

As one car (A) was proceeding through a green light in a complicated intersection, another car (B) runs through the intersecting red light in front of (A). (A) hits (B). A witness stopped and told the police that (B) ran through the red light. However the police did not issue a ticket to (B). Is there any chance at all that car (A) will be found at fault or duel fault?

the number is, for ie, 00012345, the 12345 shows, but not the zeroes. i went to excel options and advanced , the show zeroes is checked in the check box, but it doesn't work. is their a web where i can copy the cell with that format and paste it directly too my sheet and paste the formatting which will show the zeroes?

I recieved 2 bettas last october and i have kept them in a divided tank. They've both been really healthy but now one of them has been acting weird. He'll like sit inbetween the leaves of his fake plant and when he swims up to the surface he looks as if something is pulling him back down. And then sometimes he lies on the gravel like he's dead. The other one is completly normal.

is there something wrong with him?

Two years ago my son came to live with me and my current wife. He was not getting along with his step-father and the cops had been called a few times. My Ex-wife said my son could come live with me, but only if i signed a piece of paper stating i would not ask for any child support. I have a book that I vvrote that is like 200 pages on my computer. I have edited it to all and have had other people look for errors (I'm a first time author) My novel is a very adult scifi thriller that I have been vvorking on for over a year.
I knovv it can be published not only because its good, but because I'm only 15, what other teen has ever vvritten a book?? Not a short story, but a novel.
Anyvvay its really adult because some things vvent on in my life that i needed to vent about, so vvhile I'm a kid, for kids this book vvas not vvritten. (A suicide and four brutal murders, also a explicit, but vvell vvritten sex scene that is totally necessary) So...vvhat do i do next?

I am making a custom kitchen island and I planned to tile the top of it. The top of the island is going to be made of thick plywood for strength and I was told by the man at the hardwood store where I bought all the supplies that I needed to place cement board down on the plywood before I placed the tile down. I had bought a trim to go around the table top, hoping that it would be flush with the tile once the time went into place, however using the cement board makes the trim flush with the cement board and after the tile is installed, it would be about 5 mm taller than the trim. Do I really need to use the cement board? Would it be a bad idea to place the tile and mortar directly on the plywood?

I have an issue......I hired a guy out of Canada to do my web design for my website I was trying to put up. I paid him $3000 And he never completed the work. I live in the U.S
So My question would I be can I file a small claims in US or would I have to go to Canada to pursue this issue.
I have proof that I have paid him this money and a lot of other items to prove my case. What can I do here in the US?
