I messured everything as close as i could to oem specs. im installing low comp pistons and eagle rods into my block.. it was over oem specs. but i made sure that all the gaps were the same. I noticed that with the rings completely compressed the rings have no gap.. is this normal?

I can't seem to find one with my physical limitations. I broke my back a few years ago and it hurts lots still so I can't do any heavy lifting and also crushed my foot at the same time and it hasn't healed either so I can't stand on my feet all day. I can't seem to find maybe a job on the internet. They all seem like scams. Any ideas? I don't need to make a million $ just something part time to keep me busy and bring in a little cash.

I have had 3 friends get married so far this summer, and have attended all of their weddings. Between the bridal showers, wedding gifts, one bridesmaid dress, and for one my son was ring bearer, so his tux, im maxed out on wedding spending for the summer. I work 6 days a week and am a single mom, i really cant afford to miss another day of work (took a full week off when my son was hospitalized and am still trying to bounce back after that), and cant afford more presents and outfits. My cousin is getting married this october. I wasnt going to go, im not close with her, but since its the only family wedding, im taking slack from my family now for going to the other weddings but not one for "family". Keep in mind this cousin i see for about 3 holidays a yr and thats it...Its not like i dont want to go...i just really cant afford it. Is my family just overreacting, or is it rude to not go?

I bought some Memorex CD-Rs (100 pack) off Amazon and got them today. When I took the shrink wrap off them and took the first CD off the spindle, I noticed that it had a really strong odor. It's similar to the smell of paint and those super bounce balls, very chemically. This is the first time I've used this brand. Is that normal?

Both of my grandparents are from the Republic of Ireland, and are Irish Catholic, but what exactly is the situation between the two Irelands? I know their have been many religious conflicts in Northern Ireland, but aside from knowing that the religious disputes took place, I don't know much of how they originated, or how the situation is now. If anyone can explain what's been going on between the two Irelands I would greatly appreciate it, preferably from someone who actually lives there so I can get it from a person who's actually been exposed to all the politics of the place. My boyfriend and I got engaged in July and have started our wedding planning. We decided on a theme and colors we'd like and a date, May 21st, 2008, but we still need to work out more details for it. I was wondering if there was something that can help me self plan my wedding and keep things affordable? He and I don't have a lot of money and we've yet to announce our engagement to our families, we're not sure how they'd react, but we'd like to at least get a blueprint set up. I'm on varsity for cross country, but I'm still not a phenomenal runner. I run about a 20 minute 5k, so I consider my self pretty good, but it's not like I'll go to Regionals or any thing. I'm more concentrated on tennis, I play in tournaments where my record is 9-10 and I'm ranked 241 in the Mid Atlantic, and ranked 163 in Virginia. I was 8-5 as a freshmen in high school playing number 3 and 4 seed, where our team was third in the disrict. I can't decide if I want to quit Cross Country to have the chance to practice more and play more tournaments. What do you think?

I by no means like Notre Dame, but I am looking forward to seeing him in action. He's supposed the be the next big thing in football. Was anyone actually pulling for one of the other QBs to get the job (besides parents and high school coaches)? How do you think he'll do, bad or really bad? He is after all a true freshman.

I forgot to mail in my credit card payment this week. I didn't want it to be late so I thought I would just do a western union quick collect and get it over with. When I called my credit card company to get the codes I needed, I got a man with a very bad Indian accent, he could not help me so he transferred me to another Indian man who also had no idea what I was talking about. After the third, I gave up and mailed it. Why are so many American companies sending their customer service centers to India where nobody here can understand them?

i already know that if they r in the same plane they r coplanar. but what if 2 points r not in the plane or not in the same plane? How can i tell if they r coplanar? My teacher said if u can draw plane around them... but to me, it sometimes doesn't work.

why do some Christians subject Jesus' teachings and neglect the rest of the Bible (notably the NT)?
I just read the Q on "gay Christians," using "Jesus never mentioned 'homosexuality,'" but neglect the rest of the Bible teachings on this and fornication, which falls in this category. Can anyone claim Paul was not well versed and knowledgeable in Scripture, since he visited the third heaven and received straight revelation from the throne of grace.
Why do we use what was not written and "taught" by Jesus in the gospels, but yet written in the rest of the NT?
The Bible says that not everything Jesus did could be written...
