sounds like reality to me

First off he's not dead - as the Apostles testified, he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.

Secondly, how do you know he's not coming back?

Thirdly, the Lord God is a supernatural being who lives outside of time and space. The bible says "a day to the Lord is like 1000 years and 1000 years is like a day" - yes it is a poetic statement, but to a being outside of time, 2000 years is like 2 days to us, and he's not in a hurry.

The longer he waits, the more people who can repent and know him, because when he comes, it's all over.

Nothing. He rose from the dead and IS coming back. That means everything to humanity.

1 Corinthians 15:16-20
If the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.
But now Christ IS risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

John 14:2-3
"In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were NOT so, I would have TOLD you.
I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

Burden of proof is on our side on this one.

Doesn't mean anything for humanity. Humanity will run it's course as always and Christians will continue to talk about end of times and that he's coming soon.

He already came back, almost 1000 years ago.

The anti-Christ was beaten. Armageddon was stopped.

Once an organization gets going, it does not want to stop...
