Im currently twenty years old, and I talked to my girlfriend what she thinks about marriage. She basically told me she wants to hold a full time job, and that getting pregnant is not something she wants to do. She is pursuing a law degree, and she says she wants to be the best lawyer, and if her husband can't understand that she might leave him. To be honest my jaw kind of fell down. I want exactly the opposite of what she is looking for. I do like women who can hold on their own financially, but I want a wife that also wants to have a child, raise that child with me, and not put work over family. My mom is a stay at home woman, and my dad is the one that supports the family. So, I haven't exactly seen my plan in action. Anybody have inputs about full time working women?

Prior to the settling of European settlers?
It's commonly known that Vikings and other Northern countries knew of the New World (archeological evidence of trade) It is also commonly known that the warrior Native archers were deadlier accurate from farther away than any marksman with a modern rifle of the day.
Given the two facts above, how would you explain the 'take over' of the United States? Also please give insight as to why South America has not been as economically (even if for their own people) successful as North America?

I'm in middle school, and it seems like most girls (and boys, for that matter) are just complete idiots. This girl came up to me and asked, "Do you wear that tie every day?" mockingly. When I gave her a look and said, "No, not every day," she snickered and went back to her friends, and then they laughed and pointed at me. Why are they such idiots? Why would they think that this would hurt my feelings, because it's just so stupid? Frankly, I have one question:

wtf?

Major General Tim Cross has decided to open his mouth and insert his well manicured foot into it. I guess he was tired of being compared to the French and the fact that pulling out of Basra has has been referred to as a "retreat" by American Generals. Now all of the sudden he is an expert on what should have been done. It pretty obvious that Cross should stick to his rather limited roll, humanitarian aid and reconstruction and leave the fighting to soldiers. How come I keep seeing this Monty Python clip in my mind...run away!...run away!

I recently got a new laptop for school. I can't seem to find the installation CD that came with my Mp3 player when I purchased it. My new operating system is Vista, so I doubt I could use it again anyways. Does anyone know how I could get the media explorer software for Vista Home Basic? I checked Creative's website; I don't see anything about getting it.

Any help or suggestions would be great!
I feel like they have it on their site somewhere, I just can't find it to save my life.

He brought more media coverage to his party and the Democrats don't seem to care how they get their coverage or what their party members do to get that coverage.

No press is bad press to them. How would they have rewarded the Senator?
Republicans got rid of a bad apple. What would the Dems have done?
