It's a hopefully to-be novel about four girls going to an elite school for the arts. (A writer, an actress, a singer, and a dancer.) They all have their own problems, including love trianlges, eating disorders, a suicidal and eventually homicidal classmate, as well as a number of other more minor things.

Well, that being said, I need a title. Desperately. I would appreciate any help that can be offerred.

Relgion has always been a litmus test (whether for good or bad, I won't say), yet many people say that religion should be kept out of politics now. How can these people explain why the government did well when religion was vey much out in the open? The greatest president we have ever had in this country, Abraham Lincoln, was very religious as were so many other of our great presidents. Why then try to get religion out of government if it makes such great people to lead this country?

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free excercise thereof... etc. etc."

So, if Fundamentalists want to argue that Marriage is defined as one woman + one man in the Bible (which is a stretch of interpretation)... then that makes marriage a religious affair and thus untouchable by federal law as per the 1st Amendment.

Agree?

And how could the law validate the marriage of one religion and invalidate the marriage of another?
(That would mean that all hand-fastings are null and void as well as the hetero marriages performed in religions which also perform gay marriages and refuse to distinguish between them).

And before you say "Reynolds V. United States", that was about Polygamy (and only lead to the conclusion that you can't break a federal law that already exists and say it was your religious right.)

We just lost our rat chi recently and have brought home a baby female rat to carry on her legacy. I want to name this rat after her, something to honor her and remember her by. Since the first rats name was chi I am thinking maybe zen or something like that but zen isnt a very pretty name. Anyone else have any ideas of a short word with a nice ring and a similar meaning to what the word chi embodies?? My overhead fan in my bedroom makes a clicking noise, not right away but after like 20 seconds after use on high. on medium it makes little noise and on low just the typical noise a fan makes. If anyone could help me I tried tightening the top screws at the fan's base but no luck the fan keeps annoying me.
