I couldn't stand listening to Rusty in postrace interviews much less now as a horrible commentator! Fox had the best Nascar coverage ever done. ESPN is the worst ever.
DW is irritating now, but no one could touch him his first year commentating (2001)

Yep, Good thing this is the last race that ESPN will cover. Bad thing though is it goes to ABC which is the parent to ESPN. I'm not sure if Rusty will follow along. We can only hope not right. While we watch, whenever Rusty speaks we all yell out blah blah blah I'm a Rusty Whiner. Try it out it's fun...

Rusty Wallace is the Yogi Berra of NASCAR. Check out what he said earlier in the race.......I forget who he was talking about, but the guy nailed the wall...........

I am glad ESPN picked up Dale Jarret, but Rusty can just go away as far as I am concerned. That whole ESPN crew sucks except for Dale. I miss Fox coverage. What the hell was NASCAR thinking?

I agree with Mearn...wtf is that? I mean the guy was barely concious and couldnt even walk,had to be pulled from the car and he was like man I cant believe he got out of the car and walked away from this and then they put him on a stretcher.He says the dumbest stuff..it gets on my nerves.I wish he wasn't a commentator cuz he isnt very good.He said sumthing again today that made me mad too..I just cant remember what it was..he says it so much..Im used to it..it just makes me mad and he talks like he has never even ridden in a nascar before...please..

Man I thought some of the others over the years were annoying but Rusty Takes the cake.
He may know racing but he is using too many personal annalogies.

Absolutely. Like his comment during the Busch race about how Brad Keselowski was walking away from the wreck....then they put him on a stretcher...

Yeah. Rusty is a terrible commentator. I really miss Benny Parsons and Neil Bonnet.

I agree with 2LabsNY - It's the sound of his freakin voice!! His analagies aren't that bad, and he knows the racing lingo and all, but that creaky voice of his just makes me shudder!
