I am not a racist!I love and respect all religions and cultures BUT:I look at my country Greece and see that what i used to love about it is changing.Europe is mixing as people from all over especialy in our case Albania and China start to move in and chnage the way things were.The little neighbourghood shops i used to like visiting are now closing.They can not compete with the Chinese immigrants that import products and sell at the markets.The streets are full of Nigerians selling copy DVD nad CD.Nice people who are searching for a better life but is it fair to allow them into our country so that in 50 years time we are just another America with no culture and a boiling pot of people who dont get along?
This is an open question i honestly am still forming a view on the subject so dont slam me as a bigot!

Why do people continue to vote for democrats and republicans when all they can do is fight each other ?

Time after time election after election people continue to vote for Republicans and democrats.It aparent to me they DO NOT care about us our families or our countries intrest ,Only their own.The constant fighting and personal and political jabs distract others and inflame situations taking away from bussiness at hand.So Why continue to vote for them?

Computer memory upgrade?

I'm planning on buying a new computer. I use a lot of high demand softwares, sometimes a few all at once.
I need a lot of memory, but I'd like to be able add more memory later on.
I'm looking at a computer with Intel Wiiv processor, Intel Core 2 Quad Processor E6600 and 3GB DDR2 memory.
How many memory slots would this computer have and what is the maximum memory it can take?

Am I guilty of racially or religiously aggravated behaviour section 28?

My wife and sons were previously called **** pakis and I was called as **** foreigner by certain English people even though me and my son are born in England. I was still angry because they couldnt live here and had to leave the country. I couldnt protect them without fear of arrest. When I was drunk I was walking around shouting the words that these people called me and my family because I was angry. I got arrested and charged with using threatening abusive or insulting words within the hearing or sight of people likely to be caused harrasment, alarm or distress. I admit I used these words but they were not directed at anybody with a racist intent!

Does the resolution of a video card matter?

I am interested in purchasing an Acer 22" widescreen LCD monitor, however it says that the resolution is 1680x1050. My video card only goes up to 1600x1200. Will this monitor work ok for me?

Lots of people seem to like Elena as a name but is it popular.
I also have the name Alis,Maisie and Lani.Her middle name is defintly Isabel/Isobel how ever you want to spell it.With the boys we were totally decided,well not totally true until Felix was a day old and a Dr wanted a name for him Dh wasnt at hospital at time so it came upon my shoulders.It was either Felix or Reuben,both names are cool!But he suits Felix ever last bit!

I think i have internal bleeding on the right side of my lip. I just got it pierced..is it normal?

I just got snakebites yesterday at a professional piercing/tattoo parlor. I got hoops. I pulled my lip down to clean it and theres this red spot under the right piercing..It got a little bigger this morning.

Is that normal?

Why was I born so lucky to have had all the opportunities handed to me on a platter?

I have been asking this question for years - never have I received an answer that makes sense let alone be seen as adequate in a court of law cos y'all duck down behind scriptural bullshit.

Tell me (and all my girls - Frank Zappa - Mudshark), tell me and all my girls, why was I lucky enough to have been born with intelligence, in affluence, given every opportunity in a xian Kultcha to hear the word of 'god' and the poor native in the New Guinea Highlands (or the native in central Oz or the native born into absolute starvation in Darfur) were given NONE of the same advantages BUT 'god' still expects them to perform as I; 'he' expects us all to come to him willingly no matter what the obstacles and ONLY ONE LIFETIME TO DO IT IN.
My question?
Why was I born so lucky to have had all the opportunities handed to me on a platter?

They can't answer that cos their religion is a sham and their philosophy is sentimental at best and cruelly deficient at worst.
Although interesting answers will be good I just know I’m gonna get some fundie one-liners that make absolutely no sense.

Help! Car Problems!?

First my AC was messing up and wouldnt make the air cold and it started making a clunking noise. Now, its making a lot of noises and the engine is too cold. The car it running but its not doing too well so I dont wanna drive it to far. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how much it will cost to fix??
