Or is it to hard? What do you recommend from experience?
Should I be starting with 4, 5 or 6 strings?

for a beginner its a lot harder and you don't entirely know what your doing yet. i would get a Yamaha or a cheap fender as a starting guitar and after a couples months or so i would start using the V. But be care full with it cause usually their a lot of money. you should start with 6 strings so you can get used to it faster and a little bit easier.

The flying v is any harder to play than other types of guitar. The main difference is the shape. If you're just starting out I would go with a 6 string acoustic guitar. Most chords, music, and lesson books use the 6 string. All of the basics you need to learn are on a 6 string. Once you get the basics down you can start playing with the other variations such as 4, 5, or even 7 string guitars.
An acoustic guitar is better to start with because it conditions your finger muscles and finger tips better. And you need that to form good sounding chords and notes.

I agree with the first person. They look rockin and all, but they're not really a good shape to sit down and play. I'd vote you try a good fender strat or a epiphone. And 6 strings, always 6 strings unless you're ready for 12 strings later on.

Not really, but you will get used to the shape and then in the future if you get a different body shape ur going to have to get used to that., 6 strings.

while you're procuring your first guitar this is okay to flow much lower priced. besides the fact that, you're procuring your 2nd guitar and assuming you are going to adhere with it it's time to get a good one. Get a Gibson SG or Les Paul, or the PRS or Fender equivalent, no longer another much lower priced guitar.
