I just got snakebites yesterday at a professional piercing/tattoo parlor. I got hoops. I pulled my lip down to clean it and theres this red spot under the right piercing..It got a little bigger this morning.

Is that normal?

it sounds like a bruise.. bruising is different inside the mouth.. it will get a little larger.. the question is it swelling .. puffing up like a pimple.. is it surrounding the piercing.. if there is no swelling monitor it for the next 2-3 days.. if it starts to swell actually bleed.. like lots.. go to the piercer..

it sounds to me like you just bruised.. try not to touch or play around with it anymore than you have to clean it.. use a cold compress.. to relieve some of the swelling from it just being pierced.. a cool wet rag worked awesome on my industrial..

Bleeding is never "normal," in the sense that it's okay. You may be developing an infection. Have a doctor check it out as soon as possible. An infection in the mouth is especially dangerous as it could spread to your throat, esophagus and vital organs. Don't fool around w/this, get it checked out and treated.
