Presidential candidate Ron Paul believes that an attack on Iran is highly likely within a year and that the Bush administration is simply waiting for the right opportunity, or event on which to blame Iran, before launching the assault.
"If I were a betting man I would bet that they will attack Iran before the end of this administration, which means in the next year or so," the Congressman told the Alex Jones Show today.
What do you think?

Ron Paul.
I agree with what he is saying about an attack on Iran.
I also still hold my position that this and conscription will be Bush's goodbye executive order.
Good Luck to all of you Americans who don't heed the warnings. Up here y'all!
Oh I don't have an agenda. Just outside looking in

With the current rampant voter, caucus & delegate fraud it will be difficult for him to win. Add the media black out or black ball and it gets even worse. He is the most popular but I do not think the GOP will let him win anything. His rally's draw thousands and his opponents get only a few hundred. When the votes are counted these numbers flip flop. I was in Myrtle Beach SC for the debate. Pre-debate, each candidate made a speech which was broadcast to a giant outdoor TV screen. When Ron Paul made his speech they pulled the sound and no one heard his message. Everyone before and after him the sound was fine. I campaigned for Ron Paul in SC. Nearly everyone I spoke to was for Ron Paul, Some were for Romney, a few for Santorum, Not ONE for Gingrich but he won the state by a land slide. I was on the front line and I know Gingrich was not that popular here.

Ron Paul makes some good points, but he scares people away from his positions. He may be correct.
Question: Can we really allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon? If the answer is NO, what should we do about it?

I think Bush might be afraid to attack Iran. Other than that, Paul is correct in almost everything.

I don't know if Ron Paul is right or wrong about the U. S. attacking Iran, but here are 2 articles I read this morning.

Iran's ultimate stated goal for the Natanz facility, the only site now open to full IAEA monitoring, is to run 54,000 centrifuges — enough for dozens of nuclear weapons a year.
Uranium gas, spun in linked centrifuges, can result in either low-enriched fuel suitable to generate power, or the weapons-grade material that forms the fissile core of nuclear warheads.
Iran insists it wants to master the technology only to meet future power needs and argues it is entitled to enrich under a Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty provision giving all pact members the right to develop peaceful programs.[end snip]

I have a friend who is an LSO on a carrier attack group that is planning and staging a strike group deployment into the Gulf of Hormuz. (LSO: Landing Signal Officer- she directs carrier aircraft while landing) She told me we are going to attack Iran. She said that all the Air Operation Planning and Asset Tasking are finished. That means that all the targets have been chosen, prioritized, and tasked to specific aircraft, bases, carriers, missile cruisers and so forth.[end snip]

HOW CAN SANE AMERICANS STOP THIS MADNESS??????

Yes he is right.. I wouldn't put anything passed this adminstration.. and there have been many sketchy things going on.. I mean think about it.. do we really have a valid reason to invade Iran? do you know how much debt this country is in? even if there was a just reason we cannot afford it... But Bush seems to hellbent on getting us into Iran...

Ron Paul and Alex Jones are two peas in a pod. They both like to use scare tactics to further a political agenda while living in some utopia.
It's up to Iran whether or not they provoke the U.S.
