Straight after my trial on July 11th. I thanked them for their undying support over the last 6 years of hell, told them how much I loved them and took them out for a celebratory meal.
It was such a relief when the judge found my previous employer fully liable for the injuries i sustained and subsequant medical retirement.

my mom died when i was 17 and my dad when i was 22, so that was also the last time they heard those those words from me. but in my heart i know they already know that even they are no longer with me physically. their legacy lives with me and their memory, i never cease to remember and never will.
