Ok im getting my braces on thursday.Im a little nervous cuz i dont know what to expect.Nothing different,just the usual braces.....and some rubber bands at the back of my teeth.Also the have to file my teeth to make some room for to move around.

What should i expect?

ok well I was in a LTR for 3 yrs and in the last year didn't feel as if i loved him in the way i should like more than a friend. Toward the end of our relationship i started liking this other guy and he turned out to be great. Well after i broke up with my ex like a week later we started casually dating. it has now been a month since my LTR ended and i still like the new guy and we are still dating should i start a relationship with him or wait? My last relationship ended well and i don't feel like i'm hung up on my ex i just really like this new guy. What are your thoughts or advice on getting into another relationship after another just ended?

The source of my depression is loneliness and isolation. You see,… I cannot be around people because I suffer from social anxiety. Yet,… I cannot live my life without human contact, which is the source of my depression. But how do I defeat social anxiety, so that I no longer suffer with depression? I cannot remember the last time I felt truly happy with myself, or to be happy around other people. The reason I suffer with social anxiety is because of when I was bullied at school. I have no friends, with the acceptation of two people on Yahoo! Answers. I am seeing a councillor, and I am going to start group therapy soon.

I am surprised I have friends at all. You see, I suffer with mood swings, which I suppose is normal with someone who suffers with depression, and I have already lost a friend on Yahoo! Answers because of my mood swings. I had hoped that she would understand, what with her suffering with depression herself, but clearly she does not because I have lost contact with her over the past few days. I wish we were still friends, but I guess it is difficult when both of us suffer with the same condition. Although I would have thought we could have helped each other through it, but clearly not. Oh, and in case you are wondering, no, I am not taking any medication as the doctor felt I did not need it.

My daughter is 15 and was living with her father up until a few weeks ago. He had custody of her since she was 10.

She is now forced to stay with me because he moved due to job reasons and does not want her to stay with him in an apartment alone since he works late.

She leaves me notes that "I suck at making decisions a lot." and keeps telling me that "I ran away for 5 years" so she has a right to talk to me how she wants.

Does she have a point?

In my undergraduate career, I didn't realize I got my BA degree in the College of Liberal Arts with a concentration of Spanish LITERATURE. I think that's the reason why my GPA was low. I kept wondering why they made us take all these History & Literature courses. I wanted to major in Spanish but have a concentration in Spanish GRAMMAR & WRITING so I can get a Master's in Translating & Interpreting. No WONDER why my GPA was so low! I got a 2.8 in my major & a 2.3 overall. If I would've known then what I know now, my GPA would've been higher. Thanks to my ignorance, I can't even get a good job. I was told that a BA in Spanish Literature won't get me anywhere but teaching, ONLY if my GPA was higher. I feel like a dummy now. What are your recommendations?

I also found it interesting that the administration, most of the major declared Republican presidential candidates, and sadly, the Democrat frontrunner, Clinton, took shots recently at Barack Obama for having the temerity to suggest that maybe we should ACT on the years upon years worth of multiple nation's (including our own) intelligence reports that Osama Bin Laden is hiding in Pakistan. Bush has said time and again Pakistan is another of our 'good friends'. I guess unofficial asylum for our most wanted enemy is incidental 'between friends'. Kinda like 13 of the 19 9-11 hijackjers being Saudi was also incidental 'between friends'...

I can only wonder when America will wake up and get a REAL friend in the White House. Judging by most of these messages; Not anytime soon...

I have a cousin who greatly admires me. I'm 14, she's 10. We're completely different people, and whenever she's around I get sick of hearing about how her boyfriend broke up with her (ya, and I don't even have a boyfriend yet!), and how she just adores shopping. I don't even understand how she likes me, I don't care about my looks, and I barely shop at brand name stores! I don't mind that she looks up to me, it's just that she is always phoning wanting to hang out with me. Her parents leave her with her grandparents to look after (Her grandparents are basically her parents), and they can only do so much to keep her entertained! The thing is, that when I try to tell her I don't want to hang out with her, she wont take the hint! At first I tried to be subtle about it, telling her 'I'm going out with a friend.' But now, I just say I really don't want to and she still doesn't get it! I've even told her grandparents to get her to stop calling, but that hasn't worked either. Any suggestions?

On the tv show The Power of 10, there was a question about the percentage of Americans who believe people should not own pitbulls. The percentange was 55%. I couldn't believe it was so high. I have worked at a vet clinic for quite a while and out of the hundreds of pits who have come in, not once have I had a bad experience with one. Of course, the people who usually bring their animals to a vet's office aren't the type of people who raise animals to be vicious towards other people and animals.

For those who hate the breed, have you actually been around multiple pits or is the hatred you profess to from just stuff from the tv. And don't you think it's unfair to hate the whole breed from a few instances. I mean, that would be the same thing as saying you hate black or white people because one hurt your friend.
