He was found not guilty on one offense and guilty on another. He received a punitive letter of reprimand, so his career is pretty much finished.

In the future - you would not sound like an idiot if you found out what happened at Abu Ghrib before you make inane comments.

BTW vampire - if you had been paying attention you would have known that the was not the commander, he was assigned to the BN staff. This is just another example of people running their mouths without bother to learn anything about what happened.

Once again the military got caught up in a political log jam. And once again, the enlisted got shafted. His "crime" just doesn't make sense. Oh, well, we all protect our home. Get use to this kind of behavior in the military all you combat wannabes.

I think that it's about time our guys stop falling on the sword for these worthless ragheads.

The Geneva convention would have identified these people as spys which, in war time, made it permissible to line them up against a wall, and shoot them dead.

Today, we cow tow to this riff raff like we really care if they live or die.

Sounds a little suspicious, but I wasn't there. I don't know what happened, so I really have no choice but to accept what they said.
