He admitted he took steroids during his prime years when he was jacking up 30-40 HRs a year in Oakland...why isn't he suspended
also, does that mean all the numbers he put up will be removed from the books...isn't he on the top 500 Home run hitters of all time list?
are they gonna take away the AL MVP they gave him?
why are people sympathetic dealing with Giambi!

why are people giving him the benefit of the doubt???
Just like Bonds he took steroids. PERIOD. both are guilty!
Athletes are responsible for whats in their system...both of them cheated!
I'm shocked that Giambi isn't getting nearly the heat that Bonds is getting EVEN AFTER Giambi admitted to doing steroids wow

Not in public, he hasn't... but that's not how the steroids policy in the CBA works. Giambi would have to fail a sampling test -- confession is not an actionable option. (Granted Selig could possibly use his "best interests of baseball" authority to suspend Giambi by fiat, but that would make for a very ugly legal fight.)
No, stats are never deleted or changed except for reason of clerical error. What happened, happened. It's part of history, and history best serves interests when it is honest and apolitical.
Doubt it. No precedent, no procedure, and face it, the writers who voted at the time must have suspected something was going on, even if they weren't certain.
Pinstripes make an amazingly opaque wallpaper for many people. I don't understand it completely myself, but there's no denying it.

im not saying this is the exact thing that happened. But I think Jason Giambi is suspended because he admitted that he took steroids. There are alot of guys out there who are guilty of jackin up on steroids that will never admit they did it in their lifetime

He's not the one they want; this isnn't about removing steriods from baseball but abou removing some people from the history books. We keep hearing about Bonds, nothing about McGwire. The same people who are adamant about Bonds want Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame despite his lifetime ban and remorseless admission that he bet on baseball.

He wasn't suspended because he admitted to using steroids before MLB and Bud Selig had made it against the rules and you can't suspend him for something that wasn't against the rules at the time.

he should definatly be suspended! taking steroids is considered cheating so i think his numbers should be wiped out too. what about bonds and the home run record, he took steroids too. maybe bonds should lose the title, but im not sure what side im on yet .good question though

Why isn't Bonds suspended?
Why does his record count?
Bud Selig has turned a blind eye to all this, you suspend one, you need to suspend all!

How about the fact that he took them before they were illegal. Its hard to accept sometimes, but theres nothing they could legally do about that.
