It's about 7 years old now - a 27" Panasonic. It's a tube and not flat screen. It's been fine up until a few days ago - the picture suddenly goes black but I can still hear the channels. Sometimes I turn it off then back on and the picture lasts for a couple of minutes then goes out again. Sometimes the picture doesn't come back.

Luckily, I have a second TV, but it's a smaller 17". Does anyone know what's wrong with my TV? Is it that the projection tube is dying, or wires inside getting old? Or something else?

How much would it cost for a tv repair man to look at it? Or, is it just not worth it and I should just throw the TV out? - that's another ordeal, as how should it be disposed of properly?

I went to the Soft Paws and Soft Claws websites and I think they came in the same colors, which confused me. I'm also wondering if cats can climb things like trees and scratching posts while wearing them and if anybody's had trouble getting them on their cat and if anybody's had any trouble at all with them. Serious answers from people that have tried them only, please.

Do Christians want him?
I have heard two different people today (I live in Atlanta) say that he would not be welcome in their church - not very forgiving is it?
And why do people tend to find Jesus just after being arrested - does he put up fliers in the bail bond office?

Is it true that the registered owner of the car HAS to be the primary driver on the insurance application?
Also, what if my friend or someone else wants to drive my car? Are they not allowed to or are they covered under my insurance? I've heard people saying that the car is insured, not the person, so if the car is insured, then shouldn't anyone be able to drive it?

I know how to properly take care of myself if I were to be pregnant. I do drink occasionally on the weekends, that is why I have this concern. No I am not pregnant and do not plan on being pregnant anytime soon. Even though I use proper methods to prevent pregnancy, I know that "**** happens" sometimes even though I do everything I am supposed to. I would NEVER drink if I knew that I was pregnant. I would just like some personal advice from someone who has experienced the same. Thank you

Last night I layed down at 12 and tossed and turned all night, finally decided to get up and go to work early at 6am. Now it's 2:30pm and I can barely keep my eyes open at work. I could leave early because I came in so early but all I want to do is sleep. What should I do? Im afraid if I dont sleep a little while I'm tired now I won't be able to sleep again through the night and I'll be doubley tired tomorrow.

When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the American military became concerned about the security of the mainland United States, particularly along the West Coast. Many Americans turned their fear and outrage over the actions of the Japanese government on people of Japanese descent, both citizens and non-citizens, living lawfully in the United States... Japanese Americans were relocated to internment camps...At the time, approximately 112,000 people of Japanese descent lived on the West Coast, about 70,000 of these were American citizens. When they relocated the Japanese Americans there was no proven case of espionage or sabotage on their part.
Do you think that we did the right thing? And why?
Thanks!

The absolute love of my life is married to another, as am I, but, for 22 years since our split, we have swapped occasional e-mails, and stayed in contact. She is not "in love" with her husband, I am not "in love" with my wife, but things arent "miserable" for us either. We both have two school age children. We have seen each other numerous times, but no sexual contact. We know the moral and religious wrongs here, but this isn't a reincarnation of the past, it isnt lust, it isnt anything but true...everlasting love. We have been "found out" by our spouses, and things are dicey. We have broken off contact, cept for what are most likely "goodbye e-mails". We struggle with the kids factor, the committments we made to our spouses and to God. Obviously, we should not have been doing this while married. The love we share for each other is incredible. It's the stuff songs are written about. It isn't something we have fabricated in our minds. We know we made choices though, and thats whats hard
