my daughter was told by her employer that she cant take 12 days off her work for her summer holiday as this will be on her emplyers busiest days !! even though my daughter booked this 24 weeks before and told her employer. the boss has now looked at it and decided that it wont suit her as she will be losing money! what are my daughters rights ? the boss reckons hairdressers holidays work out different from everyone else!!

Eco-hangers are a fully recyclable, fully bodegradable alternative to wire hangers (how do you dispose of wire hangers anyway -- very awkward!!). They are viewed as a possible success because: a) there is no cost to the dry cleaner, b) as ooposed to a lot of green tech, they are not more expensive to choose for customers (just part of the dry cleaning process) and in fact they provide revenue to the manufacturer through ads printed on them.

I am 23 weeks preg, They say my due date is Dec 23-25-28, I have had contractions threw out my pregnancy more in the earler stages then now. But still get them. I have noticed lately that I have been in a real bad cleaning mood. And feel like I need to prepare for baby. Could this be signs that I could deliver soon? I know you go threw the nesting stage a bit before hand but is it too soon or am i just realizing everything is a mess and need to clean?

I am so frusterated! Does anyone know where I can find a camera store where I can buy accessories for my photography one class in Florida? If you don't know where one is in FL do you know where a good SAFE store is online I can order from. I have been looking for something for a few days and just can't seem to find anything! Well I just wanted to know, should I stop hoping for this month? I was on Ortho(the patch)...on my week off I got my period Jul 30th. Then I never put the patch back on. I ended up having another period August 13th. Now I've been trying to get pregnant since July...but I don't know if I've even ovulated or not...I haven't kept track of my CM....I just started reading about it recently on here. So, I don't know if it's even a POSSIBILITY of being pregnant? I don't even know when my period should be coming since I had 2....this sucks :( BTW I tested twice in the last week got both negatives.

I re-piped my house myself. Everything with permits. Inspector checked it and he was happy (second time - not first time, but then I saved ton of money doing it myself).
Re-piping was part of another project - I am doing major remodel (new electrical, new low voltage, new piping, new kitchen, insulation, new bathroom, new drywall, new siding, new furnace / water heater etc).
Because repring is part of another project, I had walls open for some time. About a month after I run piping and passed inspection, I noticed that one of the t-shape connectors is dropping water - one drop every 30 sec or so.
I am going to fix it this weekend, but I have a more generic question:

What can I do to make sure all the connections are correct?
What can I do to alert myself if in future there is problem with one of the pipes? Is there some sort of hi-tech device that I can hide in the wall?

How long can the USA keep letting 3rd world poor people in? Are millions of unskilled, unschooled foreigners, most of who don't speak English, really helping this country? Have you considered the long term ramifications? Los Angeles is already half hispanic. Crime is very high. Why is it that crime is so high in every single hispanic neighborhood? I live in Los Angeles. All you have to do is drive through a hispanic neighborhood and you will see grafitti and gang members. You don't see that in white neighborhoods.
