Absolutely NOT. As much as I like Arnold, he should not be president. Surely there's far more important issues to address than changing the constitution on the agenda of this or any administration, but an assignment is an assignment.
USA is being manipulated by Illegals right now and if the Constitution were changed, they would be next to run for office.
Let's not go there, shall we.

Yes, we should. It's a pretty silly requirement that is only there because it dates back to the founding of our country and they wanted "real Americans" to be President, but times have changed:
I have had a proposal in mind that makes a lot of sense to me. Since we have the arbitrary age of 35 years minimum to be President, why not simply CHANGE the US- born requirement to instead be having been a US citizen for at least 35 years? If someone can be 35 and lead the country, I think someone who has been a US citizen for as long a time is just as qualified.
This would eliminate the requirement and give more hope to all Americans. My brother is a history teacher. He told me that one time he asked the kids in his class to raise their hands if they weren't born in the US. A few of them did, and he told them that right now, they will NEVER have the chance to become President, and he said that had a great impact on his whole class. It is supposed to be the American cliche that any kid can grow up to be US President, but it's not true for every child.
It's ridiculous that someone who comes to the US as a baby or a kid or even older than that, legally, can never have the hopes of becoming US President one day.
It should be abolished and replaced with a minimum-length US citizenship requirement.

Absolutely not!! How would the citizens voting know where the person's allegiance would lie if there should ever be a conflict between the two nations? Osama bin Laden used to be considered a good guy by all levels of our govt. If he had come here and become a citizen, complete with his then-hidden agenda, he could qualify for the presidency under this amendment.
Our forefathers had the right idea.

No, only natural born citizens should be able to run for president. Do you think that any other nation in the world would allow this? I don't think so...
