Well I just wanted to know, should I stop hoping for this month? I was on Ortho(the patch)...on my week off I got my period Jul 30th. Then I never put the patch back on. I ended up having another period August 13th. Now I've been trying to get pregnant since July...but I don't know if I've even ovulated or not...I haven't kept track of my CM....I just started reading about it recently on here. So, I don't know if it's even a POSSIBILITY of being pregnant? I don't even know when my period should be coming since I had 2....this sucks :( BTW I tested twice in the last week got both negatives.

Yes the dates are correct, I stopped taking birth control after the first period ended (started on Jul 30th) then I started another period Aug 13th....I assume from stopping the BC.

If your cycles were regular before using birth control then most likely you will be regular now. The period that started on Aug 13th was probably the end of an anovulatory cycle--very normal after stopping BC. That means you are currently on Cycle Day 16. There really isn't any way to calculate ovulation since you don't know how long your cycles will be, but for the best odds try to have sex every other day. Right now, there is virtually no possibility of being pregnant since you are only about midways through your cycle. Wait the rest of this cycle out and then you can get an idea of how long your cycles are going to be.

your periods were very close together so its going to hard for you to work it out, are these dates right July 30Th and then august 13th that's only 14 days between periods
