Eco-hangers are a fully recyclable, fully bodegradable alternative to wire hangers (how do you dispose of wire hangers anyway -- very awkward!!). They are viewed as a possible success because: a) there is no cost to the dry cleaner, b) as ooposed to a lot of green tech, they are not more expensive to choose for customers (just part of the dry cleaning process) and in fact they provide revenue to the manufacturer through ads printed on them.

These cleaners in Massachusetts use the Green Earth cleaning process. It's goes to reason that they might also use the new eco-hangers. Many of them have websites which you can check out or email them.

(If anyone is interested in your state/city, you can do a search.)

P.S. I'm back. I was thinking about these hangers because I thought I'd like to start using them at home or with my eBay sales. I went looking again and saw that a store on Newbury Street uses them in a Boston Globe article. Maybe you could call or write them. It's been my experience that people in tune with the environment in their own businesses, "walk the walk."
