Would a religionist be someone who makes irrational decisions based on relitious intolerance?

Oooookaaaay I don't think racists make irrational decisions. They make ignorant and hateful ones. Religionist???? if that's even a word. Not all religious people are intolerant. I suppose you could say that a religious person who makes those kind of decisions would be base on intolerance; but also ignorance and hate.

A "religious zealot" would be someone who makes irrational decisions based on their religious intolerance.
Remember when Jerry Falwell burped out the absurd command for his mavens to convert Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, etc., to the Baptist faith? It was irrational to want to convert the entire world to his religion and this irrational act was based on his proven intolerance of others and their respective religions.

Your whole theory is flawed. A racist is a person who hates someone based on their race. So I guess a regilionist (your word) would be a person who hates someone based on their religion. Ouch, didja see that one coming back on you?

The misconception in here of what tolerance means is mind boggling.
I tolerate what I dis-agree with.
I dis-agree with what I think is wrong.
For you to be wrong, I must be right.
Therefore, I tolerate your ideas if I believe they are wrong.
Tolerance and acceptance are not the same thing.

eg. a muslim who says "Death to all infidels!"
a Christian who says "We're gonna pray until ev eryone starts to beleive in Jesus" or "We're gonna ppray for the fall of all other relegions.
a jewish person who says all muslims are camel F***ers
a muslim who says jews are piggs and monkeys.
and the hatred goes on and on
