it sounds like they all want to stay the course like bush. If so, what is the difference?

What about real third parties that have a chance?

They have already taken power in the last elections, and no they still haven't removed us from Iraq. How many election cycles are you going to wait until you elect people who are going to do what they say?

At this point, with the situation growing with Iran, the most important question is-do you really want the authorities-not just the US mind you, out of a nation that would most likely come under the control of Iran. Today's releases on the influences that they would like to have and the overall links of extreme behavior. Even France announced today that if Iran continues their nuclear program-they will be forced to retaliate! Whoa-yeah, France! All "parties" aside, there is more to it than evacuating and forgetting. It's not plausable for a positive outcome, here or abroad. That's the reality.

It is definitely stay the course regardless of who you choose. People dont believe in third parties. I gain hope from states taking a stand on many issues the feds refuse to do anything about. It would be nice if they try the draft and states just shut it down (me daydreaming)

Iraq is now a big political hot potato, just like Vietnam was. I think they will pull out, or underfund the war until we get overrun. This will result in another killing fields, and the region may get far crazier.
However, this is what Liberals said the final result of this war would be from the start. Eventually Americans will get sick of the war and we will leave - just like in Vietnam. You can't blame them for being right.

The difference is that, the next president, whether democratic or repulican will be in charge when the major exile from the war occurs. The american people want their kids home, either party will be brining them home in the next term. Hopefully!

If the Democrats win we will be out of Iraq. It may not be in a New York second but we will start the exodus out and let them do what they have done for over 3000 years, settle things their way.

there is no difference we'll stay in Iraq for years. we'll bring most of the troops home but many will stay.

third parties have no chance.
we've lived in an oligarchy for more than a century now. parties are figure heads.

They will get us out a lot faster than the Republicans will.. but no one is going to drop everything and leave tomorrow.

Right now there isn't a viable third party.. that doesn't mean there never will be though.

Of course they won't get us out of Iraq, however they certainly hope their base thinks that they will. What the Democrats say and what they do are usually two different things.

Hillary says it will take her many months (more than a year) to get the troops out.
But she claims that she will get started right away.
The big difference is that she won't have to pretend that Iraq is working.

There are no real 3rd parties.
