My Fiancé and I are about ready to send out our hand fasting/wedding invitation, both of us are pagan He being Asatru and I being Wiccan. The most of our family members are Christian, and while neither of us hide what we are neither of us feel the need to flaunt it. It would just make a scene. I would like some suggestion as to how to tactfully and with out offending anyone mentioning it the invitation that the wedding will not be a traditional Christian ceremony, but rather a pagan hand fasting. That way no one will be surprised or offended when showing up. Thank you

I have Jury Duty in a month and I'm in Group 1. Does this mean that I will be called in definitely to go the first day of the week? If they were to dismiss me would I get to go home first?
The last time I don't remember what group I was in but I had to go 3 days in a row til they finally chose their jurors and I was finally allowed to go home. They even made me transfer from one court to another!!!

Why is it women kill their children(one drowned her FIVE children in a bath tub, the other drove her car into a lake and blamed it on a carjacking that never happened) and get to plead this temporary insanity bullshit. Scott Peterson gets the death penalty though for killing his pregnant wife. The women had emotional ties to their children which he didn't have yet because his child wasn't born yet. I'm not taking up for Scott Peterson but shouldn't all three of them get the death penalty??

I had been going out with me boyfriend for 2.5 years, i moved to his country 10months ago to give it a go here, and have spent several thousand euros trying to live here with no job, but paying my way the whole time.
we bought a car earlier this year.
he went off for work in July and during the time he rang to say it wasnt working out, and now i find out he started dating someone 2 days afer dumping me. When i went to see him in disbelief last month, he told me to take the car and go home.
I met him yesterday to get him to agree to pay for my rent until i find someone else myself. I also pointed out i was taking the car, but he went balistic. Mad. Saying no, it was more his car, he paid more and i could have it until i find a new place in town.

Everyone i asked are all saying, he had initally told me i could keep the car, so i should. some say he dumped me and thats good enough too. outsider point?

I am personally tired of hearing about people sueing restaurants because of their increasing weight gain.

What person now out here still don't know that MC Donalds is not a healthy food to eat everyday? When are we going to take responsibility for own actions? Why must we blame everyone else but ourself?

I know that damn near all the restaurant have "Super size" this and that but it up to us to say "NO". By sueing we are basiclly saying that we are not strong enought to say no and instead of getting help let's just sue and get paid and spend our money from the lawsuit on food! I'm not saying that it easy to say no, I'm saying that you need to get some help don't blame others for what you have done to your body!

America is the Fattest Country today! What does that say about us?

I would love advice on how to become a tv or movie extra? I live in a small city, Flint, MI, but I would be willing to travel to a big city if I knew I could get work. Do I need to send in photos to agencies or casting offices in NY or LA? I don't know of places in my city or state that films commercials or movies. Do I need an agent? How much does an extra make? Any help would be appreciated.
