No. I suggest that all transactions, e-mails and phone calls made by our politicians be made a matter of public record. Along with than, we need to know about their finances.
These are the people who need to be under scrutiny. They are the criminal class.

No please cite where this is going on with the exception of monitoring incomming international calls from know terrorist operatives.
The government as you put it needs to show cause and get legal court orders to see your emails, bank records etc.
