I had been going out with me boyfriend for 2.5 years, i moved to his country 10months ago to give it a go here, and have spent several thousand euros trying to live here with no job, but paying my way the whole time.
we bought a car earlier this year.
he went off for work in July and during the time he rang to say it wasnt working out, and now i find out he started dating someone 2 days afer dumping me. When i went to see him in disbelief last month, he told me to take the car and go home.
I met him yesterday to get him to agree to pay for my rent until i find someone else myself. I also pointed out i was taking the car, but he went balistic. Mad. Saying no, it was more his car, he paid more and i could have it until i find a new place in town.

Everyone i asked are all saying, he had initally told me i could keep the car, so i should. some say he dumped me and thats good enough too. outsider point?

I feel so sorry for you, Please whatever you do don't blame yourself!!!!
Take what he offers you if he offers you rent and car then good however if he just offers you the rent then forget the car and concentrate on you and what to do next.
Please remember after something bad something good always happens !!!
Silly man his loss, All the best Chin up and prove to him that you can live without him.
Take care

From own adventure i will allow you to already know that frequently you reside with somebody via fact they are transforming into a habit. i replaced into with somebody for 6 years and to on the present time I nonetheless love him, yet i'm no longer "in love" with him. you need to be waiting to step decrease back and notice in the experience that your existence would be extra suited without each and all of the bags. In relationships some people ultimately get the grass is often greener situation of their heads, yet they decide to have the two factors only in case. whether it could injury like heck to depart, it could injury much extra to stay and stay like that indefinitely. you do no longer sound such as you made a sparkling wreck, this is the only situation you're able to do in case you certainly need to head on. I say circulate with your coworker and have a stable time. in case you sense uncomfortable some attainable intimate interplay, only enable them to understand you do no longer prefer to leap into something right this moment.

because you didn't get him to sign a waver to the car, unless you can prove its half yours in a court, you really can't do anything except walk away and learn from this. If he's paying your rent then give him the car, get a job and buy another one in your name only. Good luck

Here is what I would do. One of you should buy the other half of the car out. Or sell it and split what you get for it and move on. Something else to think about, who's name is on the title or on the loan paper work? What ever you do, get it done and overwith. Don't drag stuff out. Dont' for get to change your insurance on it.

take the car and go for it. he sound like an *** and it isnt fair on you to say one thing and go back on his word. dont ask any more from him but take the car and start afresh. you know you need to and hes a loser, and its his loss so take what you can and if he asks for the car tell him its his fault for dumping you and moving on so quickly. its even i reckon :-p
