okay so im going to private school, were allowed to wear shirts of any colour, as long as they have a collar. bermuda shorts, skirts knee length, ect. just no denim. a lot of the girls wear cute dressed with collared shirts underneath, but i dont know how to shop for all this stuff, because im rather short and i HATE the floral patterns that are "in" right now. and wearing a polo (TUCKED IN! EW) with bermuda shorts isnt very attractive looking for a sophmore girl. so can someone give me a few tips or ideas?? thankss

I'm patting myself on the back for picking Carl for my new guy. Ive been hard core MM for 17 years. I thought about Tony, Jr., Casey, Jimmy and the Bush's.

It came out a toss up between Tony and Carl. I just like Carls attitude better, but Tony has done better so far.

I have one betta fish in a 1.5 gallon tank, and i got a little stick on thermometer- no heater, because i was told that they would be fine. It says the temperature is 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Is this okay? should i raise the temp by adding warmer water? help!

I have always heard/read that if a guy is into you, he will find a way to let you know. Can there be an exception to that? Can shyness, lack of proper communication or unordinary circumstances keep a guy from letting a girl know he is into her? Like maybe if he doesn't know that the girl is really into him, or there are difficult circumstances that make him think it wouldn't work, yet he would want to be with her if those circumstances were different? Please let me know what you think.

I have always been a major supporter of space exploration and the space program in general. But once again, to see a potential shuttle disaster because of another piece of frozen insulation angers me. Did we not learn from the Challenger/Columbia disasters? Why are we still using an obviously antiquated lift system?...and when are we going to shift technology to a safer, more advanced orbiter?

My wife and I sometimes talk "dirty" while being intimate. She has ALWAYS been very generic nothing with details or anything like that. The other day while fooling around she told me she had been a bad girl and that she had slept with her boss from a few years back. She had never said anything like that before so it caught me off gaurd. Then we were fooling around the other day she starts telling me now things she told me then about how they were often alone in the office and he liked to show her funny things on the net, she then said one day while he was showing her something funny he kissed her. Said they kissed a long time then hands began to wonder and things happend. My question is...is she talking dirty or is she for real? She played it off after we were done, but I am just wondering what to think. What do you think? Is this playing to our dirty talk or ya think maybe she was a "bad" girl?

1. Biblical Law. Matthew 5:17-18 says quite clearly that Jesus demands Christians follow Old Testament law completely, to the smallest possible point. Why don’t they?

2. Infanticide. The modern Christian churches of the world tend to gloss the fact that God is a child killer—the 10th plague in Egypt—and say that Jesus set this right. Ignoring for a moment that the crucifixion is just one more child killing to fulfill God’s will, why does Jesus say he also will kill children in Revelation 2:23?

3. Fact or Allegory. The Bible says the Earth is between 6,000 and 8,000 years old, that it was created in 7 days, and that Man is made of dirt and Woman a piece of Man. Most churches today say that this is allegory. What passages of the Bible support it all being just allegory?

4. Needle’s Eye. Jesus said rich men don’t go to Heaven easily and even implied that it wasn’t possible. Why are so many people with money and property Christian?

As you may or may not know currently, putting some one your account as an authorized user will increase that persons FICO score. (You are using the history of some one else).

I have heard that starting next month that this is no longer going to be the case? How true is that? What is the deal here? A person will be put on as authorized user but his or her FICO will not go up? When will this take effect? If some one is already an authorized user are they grand fathered in or will their FICO go down?

Lastly, I have been told that if the people do not have the same last name or it can not be proved that they are related that they will be invistigated for fraud(?) How true is that?

I am 30 years old and am in college for the first time. I am interested in vocal music and theater, but I have never taken any kind of music or theater in my life. Am I to old to start this now? When MOST people come here they don't know anything about the benefits they can get here , they really just come to make a better life. I think it is a bad spirited thing to say they are here taking the benefits when the point of welfare and education is to help people regardless of their status, just for the sake of they being people. I think it's time to realize that AMERICA is not the only country in the world and that there are countries and people that need help. We are fighting a war to "help liberate people" , when we have people here that need our help and all we do is kick them in the ***.. how ironic? dont you think?

I have a friend who is a Criminal Justice major and says that local police have the capability to scan local ip addresses to see if they are accessing websites that contain information on illegal activities. More specifically, he says that if the police were to "catch" you looking at a website that discusses how to grow marijuana, they can use it as probable cause to come to your house and ask questions. Maybe not search your house, but atleast come snoop. He specifically called it probable cause.

Now I am not a law expert, but this sounds rediculous to me.
Should I refrain from reading up on illegal activies for fear of being "looked into" by the local authorities?

I'm not talking about powers given by the Patriot Act. I know they can look into nearly any crevice they want in order to find "enemies of freedom" or "terrorists" or whatever. But I am talking about drug use/ cultivation/ anything illegal that is not a threat to national security.
