1. Biblical Law. Matthew 5:17-18 says quite clearly that Jesus demands Christians follow Old Testament law completely, to the smallest possible point. Why don’t they?

2. Infanticide. The modern Christian churches of the world tend to gloss the fact that God is a child killer—the 10th plague in Egypt—and say that Jesus set this right. Ignoring for a moment that the crucifixion is just one more child killing to fulfill God’s will, why does Jesus say he also will kill children in Revelation 2:23?

3. Fact or Allegory. The Bible says the Earth is between 6,000 and 8,000 years old, that it was created in 7 days, and that Man is made of dirt and Woman a piece of Man. Most churches today say that this is allegory. What passages of the Bible support it all being just allegory?

4. Needle’s Eye. Jesus said rich men don’t go to Heaven easily and even implied that it wasn’t possible. Why are so many people with money and property Christian?

5. Apocrypha and Biblical Revisions. The Bible of 400 CE and the Bible today differ by dozens of chapters and thousands of parts. Which Bible is the word of God and why does man edit it?

6. Born Fallen. Even in this global age there are millions of persons who never hear the Good News. We are born in sin. Do some go to Hell just because of their birth circumstances?

7. Graven Images. Isn’t wearing the cross and making statues and movies of the life of the Christ a violation of the 2nd Commandment? “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image…”

8. Inquisitions, Crusades, Witch Trials. Historians put the number of those killed and executed by Christian churches at between 2 and 15 million; mostly Jews, witches/pagans, and Muslims. Do Christians retain this murderous nature? If not, why not?

9. Turn the other Cheek. Jesus instructs the saved to love and to forgive even deadly insults (Matthew 5:44: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” et cetera). Why do no prominent Christian leaders to follow this?

10. Free will. Freedom to choose is given to man by God. Man has two main choices: 1) accept the Love of God and, upon death, go to paradise for eternity, 2) Refuse God and, upon death, just die, be utterly damned. How is that freedom of choice when it is the same thing as a gun to your head?

At the end of the day. Who cares people believe what they want and say what they want to justify it.

For some its porn, or work, or drugs, or drink, or other things that are worse. Church and all that is all just another escape. Each to their own.

Personally any "christian" that doesnt learn ancient greek (the langauge of the new testament) is at the mercy of what ever they are brianwashed into believing, if born in a muslim country they would be muslims.

Its easy for some to be churchies, good for them. They can justify there boring lives by believing the next life in heaven doing god things wont be borring.

1. Jesus was speaking to the Jews, not the Christians

2. God, being the creator, has the right to kill people. Everyone has to die some time.

3. The Bible does not say how old the earth is. (You're reading into it what is not written.)

4. Because if you bother to actually read the whole passage you would note that He also said it is possible for the rich to be saved.

5. Yeh right and you actually have the 400 CE manuscripts to prove it. Granted the Orthodox church uses the Septuagint and other use the Masoretic text for the Old Testment. But that's just a textual debate. And varients, if you actually bothered to read them, have very little impact on the meaning of the text.

6. It is not a Biblical doctrine that people are born guilt of sin. Yes people are born with a nature which tempts them to sin, which is why sin is so universal. But people are not guilty until they act upon such temptations.

7. If people are bowing down and worshipping things which represent God, then yes it is in violation. It is the creation of such things, but the worship of such things. And of course real Christians are not involved in worhipping graven images.

8.Yes, some alleged Christians have done things contrary to the bible at some time in history. So?

9. Same response.

10. The problem is that when people sin they are guilty and as such are subject to punishment. (That's called "justice"). If people have not sinned they don't have to worry about the judgement. But for those who have, they have the choice to receive the forgiveness of sins. It's your choice.

You see as Jesus said,"You neither understand the meaning or the power of the scriptures".
1) Everything that Jesus taught was taught as under the Law of Moses. He was an Ultra Orthodox Jew.A woman ,as long as she is married to her husband can not be married to another. But if the husband dies (in this case the Law) she is free to be married to another.Jesus took these laws and statutes and nailed them to the cross(Collosians 2) thus freeing us to marry the resurrected Lord and live by grace through faith by the power of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 3 and 4).That's why we are the Bride of Christ.(That's a tough concept for a Macho guy like me)
2)The Jezebel and her children are the false Church and her follwers not literal kids.Let's take Genesis 15 for example. The Amorites and other Canaanites sinned terribly by child sacrifice on the red hot arms of Molech,Canalbalism by the priests of Baal, rampant beastiality of all kinds...Ok now God told Abraham ,He would send his descendants to Egypt for 400 hundred years .Why? To give the Canaanites that much time to repent(.."for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete").
See God is very merciful and after sending prophets to warn them and 400 years they did not,He unleashed the Israelites on them. Remember ,He did the same thing to the Assyrians in 'Jonah' and they did repent.
3)The Bible does NOT say the earth is 6 to 8,000 years old . In fact between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 there could have been a billion years. That is why God said to "replenish " the earth to Adam.In Ezekial 28 it says Lucifer (before he was Satan) walked in the Garden of Eden. There's a good chance when Lucifer fell it upset all creation and it had to be restructured.Did God do it in 7 of our NOW earth days? Could be.He could have done it in 7 miliseconds. Each day ,as Peter says could be a "thousand years and a thousand years as but a day".
This was not an allegory but an explaination without detail.Like I can tell you a car is a vehichle with a combustable engine and has spark plugs, runs on gas. To give you an idea about it without being as detailed as a repair manual.
4) Jesus was speaking of Those who Trust in their Riches to get them into heaven, not just rich people.Ever go to a hospital and see a wing donated by so and so? Or a brick in a pavement donated by so and so? In Matthew 6 Jesus says that is the reward they get,a pat on the back and a golden 'At a Boy'.They did it to be seen of man.God says 'You did it for them not me'.
A rich man can be an excellent steward of God's money.Who do you think supports so many of the Missionarys today? Who fund schools and churches with out getting the earthly pat on the back, who do it secretly so their heavenly Father will reward them openly?Read Matthew 6.Tons of the rich thank and appreciate God's hand in their life.

1. I'm sorry... i must of missed the part where Jesus demanded all Christians follow the old testament... when clearly what Matthew 5:17-18 really states is that Christ fulfills the law: “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."

2.The whole verse: "And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works." (21-23)

Jesus gives her a chance to repent... she denies herself the chance and so denies her children the gift of life.

3. Where is ur scripture to prove the Bible says the Earth is between 6,000 and 8,000 years old? Also, i don't believe that the way Adam and Eve were created is an allegory... God can move mountains.. im sure He can also create humans any way He wishes to. But all Christians dont think alike so i cant speak for people who think it is and allegory.

4. "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
This is a metaphor for some wealthy people who value their riches on Earth more than their riches in Heaven. Nothing is impossible to God. If the wealthy are worthy enough to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven according to God... then they will not be denied it. It never states in the Bible that it is impossible... maybe slim... but not impossible.

5. Are u kidding me? Does everybody speak one language? The last time i checked... there were thousands of different languages in the world... the Bible is passed down and translated but the message stays the same..

6. There is always a way for someone to find religion ... all they have to do is question. Ur telling me that if someone is born without knowing anything about religion... they'll never grow up wondering about it? THey'll never attempt to find out? Just as an adopted child wonders and attempts to search for his/her true parents... so do those "who never hear the Good News"

7. WOW... get it straight.. the 2nd commandment is 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' Your referring to Exodus Leviticus 26:1 "Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God."
-Just as a friend carries a picture of another friend to remember them by... Christians carry symbols or pictures to remember Christ by... do they worship the symbols themselves? No. That would be the equivalent to worshipping idols.

8. Are you saying that all Christians are alike? THat's like saying ALL Muslims are terrorists just because SOME Muslims have committed acts in the name of their religion before... both those statements are probably the most ignorant thing any one can say. Everybody is different... I'm not gonna persecute someone for not being a Christian.. that would be hypocritical.. any true Christian would know that.

9. Prominent Christian leaders? could u be any more vague? I have no idea who ur referring to. And once again... all Christians are different... stop lumping everybody into one category!

10. Ok WOW. Obviously if u deny God... u don't believe... "well even though im goin to Hell.. im goin to continue to live this way" That's like saying u choose to fall in the river instead of just takin the Bridge. Many people don't believe in HIm or doubt his existence and therefore live their lives without Him. No non-believer is 100% sure he exists and that's exactly why they choose not to believe in Him. They do have free will... they CHOOSE not to believe in Him... a person CHOOSES to kill even with the possibility of getting arrested... We could use analogies all we want but they'll get us no where.

THere. I took the time to read ur question. Now take the time to read my answer!

1. NO, verse 18 PREDICTS THE END OF THE LAW! Read it carefully... εως αν παντα γενηται = "UNTIL all is finished.." A meaningless phrase if the law were eternal.
Another error you make here: There were NO CHRISTIANS during Jesus' life on the earth. His ministry was to JEWS LIVING UNDER THE LAW. Matthew 15:24 "Jesus answered, “I was sent only to the people of Israel. They are like lost sheep.”"

2. Pharaoh chose his outcome. He had been shown God's power.

3. NO!!! MAN says the earth is 6000-8000 years old. THAT IS NOT IN THE BIBLE! "By definition" Ussher took all the passages he used to arrive at his numbers out of context. That means it is an INVALID INTERPRETATION

4. Jesus said it wasn't easy... Mt 19:26 "Jesus looked at them and said, “With man, that is impossible. But with God, all things are possible.”"

5. You grossly misstate the work of canonization. Almost all of the books "left out" were recognized as inauthentic from as early as the SECOND CENTURY. See the Muratorian Canon, dated between 170 and 200. http://www.bible-researcher.com/muratorian.html

6. Ezekiel 18 teaches that GUILT OF SIN CANNOT BE INHERITED. No one is BORN GUILTY.

7. Lots of Christians will agree with you, however, most of the Christians who wear then do not worship them. The catholic church does erect and worship many idols, but that is the catholics, a composite of Christian and pagan ideas and not pure Christianity... And the law is no longer in effect. Ephesians 2:15 "Through his body on the cross, Christ PUT AN END TO THE LAW WITH ALL ITS COMMANDS AND RULES. He wanted to create one new group of people out of the two. He wanted to make peace between them."

8. The Crusades used Christianity as an EXCUSE and not the true reason for the military action. The PRIMARY reason they were fought was at the request of European merchants who wanted goods from the Orient without the risk or robbery and murder which had become commonplace along the trade caravan routes. They either had to pay extortion / protection tariffs of have their goods stolen and those carrying them often captured or killed. This was about MONEY, not Jesus.

9. Christians are also instructed to protect and care for their families. 1Timothy 5:8 "... Most of all, everyone should take care of his own family. If he doesn’t, he has left the faith.."

10. Most human choices have CONSEQUENCES. How does that negate the freedom to make that choice?
