I recently bought a EVGA 7950GT KO Superclocked 512mb Video Card. I know this is a higher end card, but i still seem to be having problems getting high settings on some simpler games. I know when i first installed it i had some power issues, and had to buy another power supply. When i first installed it said it needed to reduce quality to make sure my system was not damaged. I now have a new power supply, so how do i see/ makesure my video card is running at "full power" as it were? Thanks!

Okay, so i'm 19 years old and I got an underage drinking citation at a club. the club was for 18 an older, but someone knew someone and we weren't asked for our ID's and we were given bracelets indictation we were 21. A guy bought me a drink and gave it to me, and right when he gave it to me, an ABC cop asked me for my ID. I got the citation for possession of a mixed drink and misrepresentation of my age. I'm a good kid, no record, college student (pre med at that) and really don't want this on my record. What are my options? Lawyer? Take a class? How much will the fine be and how much is the class? Is there any way to beg for a LONG probation instead of a huge fine , since being a college student, i really don't have the extra 300 dollars to pay. The ABC cop told me i'd have to talk to a probation officer and not a judge. Any ideas? PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Also, why am I getting lawyer letters in the mail? Thank you!

P.S. I live in INdiana, but got the citation in Kentucky.

I am fascinated by how people think we are somehow living in the "End Times" (cue scary music). We hear about people equating earthquakes, political unrest, religious intolerance, genocide, etc. as all foreshadowing (cue angelic singing) the return of Christ. Why? People seem to fail to realize that the only reason we know more about these things now is because we are living in a technological age, nothing more. The ability for information to make it to us has only made people THINK the end is coming. The world isn't in any more or less turmoil than it was 100 years ago, the only difference is the technology that allows us to kill ourselves and the ability to broadcast it live. Instead of living with this foolish notion, one should live as though the world will continue ad infinitum, thereby helping to preserve it for future generations. God's not coming, and neither is Satan. It's just us who ultimately will decide whether or not this world lives or dies, and by our hands alone.

I purchased a used one. The woman I bought from ovulated very late (day 22), so it is set to not start asking for a test stick until later in the cycle. I am on 'day 9' and it still has not asked. We have a full bred Boxer female, she is AKC an all. My husband wants to breed her when she is old enough. She is only 7 months old now and I am trying to convince him that this is a bad decission for us to try and breed her. I look at her as my baby and I just cant imagine her being a puppy making machine. I cant imagine having to see all the little pups and then having to sell them off wondering what type of homes they are going to. He seems to be convinced since we bought a full bred papered dog we should breed her. I just wanted a Boxer, I guess he had other plans. Can anyone please give me info on a website that gives facts about dog breeding and how much it will cost in the long run for me to convince him otherwise.

My father is aware that his health may deteriorate quickly. The power of attorney became official today.
Do I have to notify his bank and financial advisor that this is now in place?
My dad is in hospital but capable of managing his own affairs.
I hope he will always be this way but there is a small chance he won't be. He has already had a series of mini strokes.
Should I leave things as they are or notify the people in charge of his finances?
I want my father to have peace of mind but not sure what to do for the best.
For the nasty people on this site: I do not want his money.
