Am I alone in seeing that it's been taken over by trolls, clones, conspiracies theorists, people with muliple Id's, who merely show up to bash, and 'gangs' who freely hand out violations to shut up the opposition? How about the daily dose of hateful atheists? I have friends who are atheists and they'd never consider behaving like these people do.

Does anyone know of any decent sites that allow REAL debate? I'm going to begin participating less because I can no longer stomach the trolls and hate mongers.

Are there other Bibles that do that? My impression is that it was changed to obscure that Paul used 'personification' in speaking of Jesus' stauros and the JW's want to minimize the symbolism of the stauros by de-personifying it.

But maybe there's a good reason for it - if so, I will apologize for doubting the motives of the translators. But what good reason could there be?

I know that your position on the Earth, northern or southern hemisphere, decides which way water spins going down a drain..... high pressure areas in weather spin one way, low pressure areas, another.... so.... what gives the galaxies and black holes their direction of spin?.... all the representations of the MilkyWay that I've seen show us spinning like a hurricane or low pressure area....

There is a belief in some parts of Africa that a woman seeking a male child can make love in the afternoon or daytime with her husband. This can make her make a male child. I don't know how this can be scientifically proven or explanations given why this can be or how this is possible.

the reason why is because I'm in community college, I only gained 7 units my first year, I barely graduated high school last year & I need 60 units to transfer, which is gonna take me a while, I wanna go to San Diego State or UC Santa Barbara, but I don't see the point of transferring because that means I would have missed out on 2 years or more of real college life, such as living in a dorm, partying, well I don't party because I never get invited to parties, but in 4-year universities nobody is really invited because you are either in a fraternity or sorority, or just walk or crash the party. My GPA in high school was 2.6, so thats pretty much horrible, plus I don't think I'm capable of succeeding in college, I'm think that I should just quit & start working, but I have a feeling I'm gonna regret it if I do that, so I feel I should stay in college & transfer, but i'm not so sure.

It seems to me Britain would benefit from this, and had it been done from the 1950's onwards, this country would be a better place!

Some cultures and races seem to do well here, and others simply do not. Im generalising, as i think you have to, but using criteria such as: successful integration with the indiginous british, levels of employment, academic achievement, family stability, levels of crime/%of prison population etc, peoples such as Middle Eastern Christians, Jews, Non Muslim Indians(Hindu, Sikh, Jain etc), Orientals/Chinese, Poles, Czechs, Italians, Greeks etc seem to do very well in Britain, as do Anglo/Celtic people who are historically british and come back, such as Australians, Kiwis, Canadians, South Africans, White Zimbabweans etc.

Whereas Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Somalis, Afro-Caribbeans(paricularly young men), North African Arabs, Albanians, Kurds etc do not do so well using those criteria.

Muslims seem to fit in less well than other religions also.
