Kids who have to be bribed to be good, are like Christians that have to be bribed to be good. They are not good people, and you can never know when they will turn bad.

Evidently you and I don't study the same bible. A person is not saved because they are good. A person is saved by the Grace of God. No amount of works can pave your way to Heaven. The only way that you can get to Heaven is by proclaiming the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and by having a close personel relationship with him. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. I am sorry your relationship with Christians have been misguided ones.
