how is it possible there is no inflation if gas prices are 3 times what they were 6 years ago and have stayed there or above that level for quite some time - doesnt the cost of utilities,transport,packaging ,consumer goods all increase because of this .and at the same time hasnt the value of the dollar decreased on world markets by about a 1/4 of its value -but yet the fed continues to state there isnt inflation -I dont get it -why is there no inflation ? is it just because the fed says there isnt ?
The only thing I can think of is the Yuan is way undervalued keeping the CPI(consumer price index) low ? or some other costs of doing business has dropped - what do you think?

If you are the proud owner of more than a single brain cell then presumably you are able to at least entertain the POSSIBILITY that god is an entirely fictional man-made creation as a hypothetical question....so; can you imagine anything happening which would make you NOT believe?
I only ask because it seems clear that most religious people on this site do not have the capacity to challenge their own views. i.e. they are so sure of themselves that they do not even bother engaging their brains in considering the options.

As a devout atheist, I can still at least admit it's possible there is a god. It's just that I've set "proofs" which I would need to see to become a believer: (NB. Proof must be first hand. I accept no second hand information as being inherently true, no matter how much I trust the person providing the information. i.e the bible ISN'T proof!)
- lets see a miracle, any miracle will do!
- receive any sort of communication not explanable through known science.

I bought a netgear wireless started router- i have a bt home hub downstairs and wanted the netgear router upstairs so i wud get a better connnection on xbox live, i have the extension cable which runs upstairs, its confusing yep, but if i have the home hub upstairs n downstairs it works bt the netgear router only works upstairs it cnt connect to the line from upstairs for some strange reason, so does anybody know how i cud get he hub and router working plz 10 points to the best annswer xxx

I just bought a new 2007 Yaris (has 5000 miles) and i've only driven it for 3 weeks now and about 150 miles and this morning going to work (about a 5 min drive) the coolant light came on. I checked the level and it was at HIGH. Is that ok or what could be going on? I don't want a car that overheats on me before I've made my first payment!

since I have to wait about a year for Breaking Dawn(4th book of the Twilight series) I need something to read to keep me occupied. Books similar to Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse are preferable but i'll read just about anything if it sounds somewhat interesting. fav genres are fantasy, realistic fiction, mystery, and i do like romance also, to an extent. Any suggestions? oh and keep in mind im a teen so try and keep your suggestions to YA please.

What would happen to the region of space between two black holes with equal gravitational pull that were facing each other.
i.e. if you could build a space ship that could (in theory) survive and flew it into this region would it be suspended in the middle in a altered(slower) time.

Hello i asked this question a few days ago but i left out a few details.....i recently purchased a 1997 pontic trans am....with 76000 miles on it....and when i brought it home there was engine coolant on the driveway.....and i think that was because the seller did not know the first think about a car and he just added so much coolant right to the top and it busted through the cap when i parked it in my driveway....also there is a light brown sludge or paste on the bottom of the stick....((((i know that alot of cars dont have a coolant check stick but this one does)))) so my first guess it would have to be a head gasket....but i just did a engine compression test on all 8 cylinders and they came out with 200-210 pounds of pressure which would indicate that the head gaskets are good....my question is why is there that sludge on the bottom of the engine coolant stick.....also the car does start to overheat when left on for about 20 mins but when i turn the heat on it seems to get cooler.

in this new 21st century with new ethics , morals and humanrights how do religious people define the term sin ?

if you read religious texts prophets such as abraham, moses, lot and mohomed commited terrible human right abuses

Every time somebody posts a question critical of Islam on here, muslim respondents immediately jump on the defensive, or attack the questioner. Why?

It is obviously a religion/culture with major problems, and yet not one muslim seems to wish to address them. The last two questions i posted raised some valid points, but not one muslim addressed them, or was even REMOTELY prepared to accept that i had a point, even on something indesputable like Darfur, or the treatment of Assyrians in Iraq!

Instead you get people trotting lines from the Koran, Racial abuse by Panadol or whoever he is, or flat denial!

Its no wonder islam is so intolerant, you can see that by the respondants on here!

Sure some questions are abusive, and its fair enough to react to that, but some ae actually making valid points.
